Good size rooms with a lot of space. Location was a bit out of the way from downtown Portland.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Cons: Nothing - don't change anything!
Location: The location on the river was very pretty.
We were very happy with our stay at this location. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was the best free breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. When we asked the hotel staff for dining recommendations in the area they sent us to the perfect location!

"Great hotel for a family"
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: Extra flat screen. Didn't have to watch one thing. Kids could watch what they wanted and parents what they wanted in extra room.
Location: Nice location that overlooked a river.
Great hotel. It was a pleasant, quiet stay. Very kid friendly.

Location: Great location right off I-205
This hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We had everything we needed in our room. Refrigerator, microwave, nice size television and more. The complementary breakfast was very well put together. The staff very accommodating and ready to fulfill any request. The view of the river was wonderful, very quite and peaceful. There's a grocery store, gas station, and food all within a two minute walk. I-205 is located about three blocks. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very enjoyable. Great location and nice and quiet hotel. Great pool, hot tub and breakfast in the morning. We are repeat customers.
Did not live up to expectations

We had stayed here before and loved the hotel. We had high expectations for our second stay. It was nothing like our first visit. Check in time was 3 o'clock. When we got there our room was not ready. They said they would call when it was. By 6pm, still no call but I went back in to say we couldn't wait any longer. Our room was actually ready by that time, but no one called us to let us know. Once in our room, one of the TV's was broken. We called to get it fixed, but no one showed up. Our room was right next to the work out room and when people ran on the treadmill it shook the whole bed and was very loud. Plus our room was furnished with two towels for four people. Annoying. I was pretty fed up with the place and don't plan on returning.

Great alternative to the costly downtown hotels
Posted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: the bed and pillows
Cons: the soap and shampoo
Location: Easy freeway access and conveniently located near a Safeway, Gas Station, and Car Wash
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Oxford Suites as a less expensive alternative to downtown Portland. Access to the hotel was easy and the Safeway nearby was convenient for the forgotten toothbrush. The shampoo and body soap dispenser in the shower was handy but the shampoo and soap was just ok. Washing hands at the sink requires a trip to the shower dispenser since no soap is available at the sink. The Wolfgang Puck coffee pods made a great cup of coffee but my wife likes tea which was not included. The bed and pillows were perfect! I would stay here again but with my own soap and shampoo.
