Handy to airportPosted Jul 23, 2014
Location: Not sure about places to eat as we caught the train to the city and ate in there.
It was very convenient to be picked up and dropped back to airport without additional fee. This hotel was good for a quick stay and the train to Portland is only a short walk away. The breakfast was better than other hotels. Some staff were more friendly than others but overall it provided a good overnight stop for the price.

Good hotel for overniterPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Beds, cleanliness, good breakfast included, WiFi was good, flat screen TV with many channel choices including Showtime.
We stayed 2 separate nights coming up and leaving Portland on our way to another place. It would be very convenient for folks flying in and out of Portland as it is close to airport. Despite busyness of location, it was quiet in our room. Beds were very comfortable.

Great rooms and great value.Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Friendly and courteous.
Location: Near Portland airport, restaurants, etc. Beware Portland's rush hour traffic - it is horrendous. I mention it because it affects your scheduling.
Expected descent rooms of a budget hotel, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality, spaciousness, and amenities of the room.

Standard hotel close to the airportPosted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: The staff was simply the nicest, as they picked up up at the airport, and brought us back the next morning.
Cons: The carpet is old, and the furniture would need to be refreshed. The shower was great however and there was ample choice for breakfast in the morning.
Location: This hotel is near the airport, and that is its only advantage.
We spent only one night at the Quality Inn. We had chosen this hotel because it is close to the airport, and they offer a free shuttle. This was great for us as we needed the next morning to be dropped off at the airport in order to pick up our rental car. This way we could save one day's car rental, and did not have to get a car late in the day and drive in a new city in the middle in the dark.

The Quality Inn, Portland Oregon AirportPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The staff was quite nice.
Cons: It needs to be updated and they need to pay their staff more so they can keep them.
This hotel is very convenient to the airport and the staff did their best to try and make the stay pleasant, however, the rooms were outdated and the first room I stayed in had a very unpleasant smell. On the plus side the beds were quite comfortable and the shower had a good supply of hot water. There is no room service, but there were restaurants within walking distance however that option became a problem when it started raining cats and dogs. I did end up ordering in using the Grubhub App. I stayed at the motel twice, coming and going. On the way out they were having serious staff issues. No cleaning crew so they had no available rooms on the ground floor and no shuttle driver and we had to rely on another hotel, the Clarion I think, cover this hotel. I didn't think I was going to get to the airport in time. I have to comment that the staff was quite concerned with my comfort and went out of they're way to make sure I did get to the airport, but it was terribly inconvenient al the same.

Visit PortlandPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Conveniently located, free breakfast and shuttle service to/from airport.
Cons: Eggs at breakfast could use more flavor, tasted like they may have been dehydrated eggs
Location: The Grotto is less than 5 minutes away by car (is actually within walking distance), and the local train is just a short walk away from the hotel.
Although Airport is in the name of this hotel, be assured you cannot hear any airplanes flying overhead. This hotel is a short distance from the airport and conveniently located near major highways and less than 5 minutes from The Grotto (local attraction). The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The room appeared to be recently updated with dark wood furniture, comfy sitting chair & ottoman, and granite counter tops on the vanity and coffee bar area as well as large granite tiles in the shower.

Lovely staff and a spotless clean room close to a grocery store and places to get snacks-there was a very nice workout room and the bed was comfy and the area was very quiet! We slept great-very pretty decor, it was all I could have wanted and the staff were all especially nice!

Good location.Posted May 14, 2014
Good hotel. The rooms inside are modern, comfortable and clean. It's not much to look at on the outside. You wouldn't know the rooms are as nice inside by the outside appearance-- which isn't to say it looks rundown or anything like that. It doesn't.
