Poor value, misleading advertised rooms

Posted Jun 30, 2015
There was inappropriate alcoholic drinking in plain view in the lobby when we checked in. Room we received was not as advertised in the Expedia pictures. Only pictures of the executive suite were shown, which misled us to thinking all rooms were like that (separate living room/desk area). The sink area is in a separate area away from the toilet/tub, which is a bad feature to have with small kids (can't wash hands/brush teeth without waking up small infants). Internet access was a mess. Took 30 minutes with technical support to get it working. And there was a small cockroach in the bathtub. Would never stay here again, particularly for the quality and value.

Nice inn at a good location

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Located 5 minutes from I-84, near restaurants and grocery stores. Rooms are spacious and very nice bed. I'd definitely go back and stay there again.

Housekeeping sucked

Posted Jun 28, 2015
I stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never cleaned my room once. I had to ask the front desk gal for clean sheets and towels and I changed my own sheets. Also the hallways and stairways were filthy, I walked by the same garbage wrappers on the floor for 3 days. The front desk gals were great... Hotel had potential if they took pride in it and took care of it.

Clean cheap hotel outskirts of Portland

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Overall my husband an I were very impressed with our stay at the quality inn. You never know what your going to get when you use a mystery deal. The room was large and clean which is the most important thing to me. There was no fridge, safe, or microwave. There was a small coffee pot. There is a pool and hot tub inside the hotel. Neither were that great and the water looked yellow in both (that could have been the lighting, but yellow water is always unappealing to me). The water in the hot tub was only warm, not nice and hot and the jets were not very powerful. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. There is a free breakfast offered each morning (eggs, toast, bagels, biscuit and gravy, apples, and waffles). It was a goodifferent breakfast, but it didoes concern me a bit that we at at the same table two days in a row and it wasn't cleaned off from the previous day. Overall, the room was cheap enough and the room itself was clean so we were happy.

Pros: the rooms were clean and very comfortable I have no problem with that.
Cons: the problem I had was that it was too warm outside I wanted to sit outside in Sims down time to enjoy the weather I would have loved a shady landscape
Location: live a good location close to a lot of things too easy access out to the freeway if you wanted to go anywhere in the metropolitan areaand close to sho
the hotel was fine overall. My problem with it was it was in the summer and warm outside and there was no place to sit outside. No comfortable place for summer outdoor experience I missed that because of the good weather that we were having would like to see something set up not on their concrete where there might be a shady spot for people to enjoy the outdoors.

easy to get to

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: easy to get to for my business needs
Cons: the coffee was cold in the restaurant in the AM but staff replaced it in a timely manner.
Location: Multnomah Falls is beautiful. Tin Shed restaurant for breakfast.
This was just changed from a Holiday INN to a Quality Inn. Nice upgrades to the overall property and nice staff. Very convenient to get to- good beds.

I will never go back because of staff alone

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: After dealing with the staff, the hotel/room didn't matter.
Cons: Hire some friendly people and train them before setting them off on their own. The staff ruined what might have been a pleasant (not spectacular) stay
Location: This is in the city, on a busy/noisy road, with nothing interesting around. It is simply a place rest on your way to something better
Upon check in I was met with grumpy young man that didn't have the time for pleasantries. This is not a busy location and probably isn't full on most nights. I asked about availability of one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi tub as seen in photos. The clerk said that yes, they had some available but because I booked through expedia he couldn't change my room. I don't think these rooms are charged more, but even if they were I should have the option of paying a higher price. I've never seen a hotel unwilling to transfer rooms when the hotel was clearly not booked to capacity. I didn't let his mood change mine and I just let it go there. The room is basic, and although I think it was fairly clean I was given used shampoo and lotion bottles which made it feel a bit dirty. The next morning, upon returning from the car, the morning staff stopped me in the middle of the room (with other guests there) speaking loudly "Is there something I can help you with", once again with a rude manner. This has never happened to me before either, why would someone in their jammies be walking into a hotel in the morning for nefarious purposes? Check-out time they had charged me 94.50 for incidentals and i didn't have any. It took them 30 min to sort it, calling the main office to get it done. After the first 10 minutes of him trying to figure out how I could owe them $90 because it must be true if the computer said so. Ruined my morning and made us late for our scheduled activity.

Pleasant Surprise

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Location: The location was convenient to the freeway, but nice and quiet with restaurants and shopping near by (driving distance).
This Quality Inn really surprised me. The lobby was nicely appointed and comfortable. The restaurant was clean ans spacious, the rooms tidy and well equipped. Not luxurious, but better than many hotels that I would have chosen at a higher rate. All in all a great value.

Our goal as a Quality Inn is to provide our guests with a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price and we're glad that we met that goal. We hope to see you again soon.
