The lovely blossum trees out the back. We've had a comfortable stay But for me, I like my breakfasts that's important to me. This was very lacking. If you got in there first thing there was a place for you but later it was a long queue. Only one coffee pot for a number of people. No place appropriate to sit and eat your breakfast. No real convenient way to transport your breakfast to your room. The options were very limited. It fell short of the description that I could find for a continental breakfast as advertised on your website. " The standard continental breakfast will have some combination of fruit, muffins, bagels, cereal, bread, croissants, pastries, waffles, yogurt, juice, milk, tea, and fresh coffee. Additionally, there will be butter, jam/jelly, cream, and sugar available. You can see the cereal, milk, fruit, and coffee.". Otherwise it has been a good experience thank you all. Cleaning staff were very cordial.

The bathroom had a terrible smell, like old water damage or mildew. The breakfast was in the lobby, on a tiny table and a lot of people lined up, we didn’t even wait in line for food. I think part of the building was under construction, I wish I would have known so I could have decided if was friendly, and it was quiet, affordable.

Excellent hotel with all the amenities of free breakfast, indoor pool and hot tub, gym, etc. Greatest staff with super friendly and helpful service. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in Portland, Oregon.

The hotel could use some upgrades. But the worst part for us was the ants. There were ants everywhere. Including inside the refrigerator, where we put food as not to have ants get into the food if it was kept out. Other than that, the stay was decent. Probably won’t stay here again though.

Pot smoke in my room and the staff did nothing. Stucco falling under the canopy. Said something to staff they did nothing. Unfortunately they had pipes burt so they had a make shift kitchen which was good. Based on what they had to work with. I e stayed here about 6 years straight 2x a year. Won't be back. They have people living there full time. It used to be a great place to stay. It needs maintenance badly and to cater to guests not pot smoking regulars. Better places at that price point

Better than expected
The hotel was better than other Quality Inn’s I’ve stayed at. I wish there was more consistency across the brand but this is an example of a good one. I had read the reviews and knew that breakfast was going to be simple with cereal, yogurt, waffles and apples, with coffee and juice - nothing a diabetic can really do for a meal. But since I was prepared it was planned for. The website says Hot Breakfast included. I guess since waffles are hot it’s not untrue just not what most travelers expect of that phrase. I liked that you cannot use the elevator without a room key and the parking lot is well lit. The rate for my room was better than expected and when I suddenly had to cut my visit short due to weather I was charged appropriately without an issue. The room rate I had booked could have allowed the remaining nights to still get charged. That was so very appreciated. I’m assuming that since hotels were filling up due to the storm they were able to fill that one too. The staff was professional and gracious. I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. I normally avoid Choice Hotel brands but stay at this one again

The place has a lodge feel with the constant fireplace running. Staff were super friendly and our room was clean. Beds were firm for those who like firm beds and down pillows. Not that far from the hospital for family to stay. Breakfast was simple but convenient. The place needs a little updating with the carpet but it’s still nice to stay at.

It was good overall, just expecting a little more for the price I paid. Staff was courteus and location is nice, quiet area. An older facility showing some age, wear and tear here and there. Perhaps die for a renovation sometime soon. Room was clean and smells good. My main issue would be door noise from next door, everytime the next door neighbor opens or close their doors, it makes a lot of noise, so loud that it sounds like someone is opening or closing my own door, also the towels are really thin and rough, need to be replaced. Breakfast was ok, kinda hoping for better, but nothing bad about it.
