“Slightly run down and a little rough around the edges.”
This particular property is not up to the usual standards of a Residence Inn.
“Welcoming Environment”
Everyone from the front desk clerk to the maid service was extremely pleasant and interested in making visitors feel comfortable. Each room is well equipped and completely functional.
“Good hotel”
Room and hotel was as expected. My wife and I know the area well so there wasn't much risk in staying here even though we hadn't been at this particular location. Continental breakfast was about average.
“Not a bad a stay for the price.”
This would be a good place to stay if you were staying several days. The breakfast was actually pretty good. Better than most. The room was reasonably clean and spacious. It would be good if you wanted to cook your own meals. The kitchen was actually pretty nice and had enough decent dishes and cookware to cook for four people. It wasn't a "posh" place, but for the price it wasn't bad at all. I would stay there again.
“Would definately stay again”
Love to stay here cause I can take my dog and no elevators to deal with. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and less hotel like than other places.
“A decent place to stay”
Upon check in at night, the gentleman there who is the "night auditor" was a bit annoyed with something. He did not listen to me and was kind of rude really. At the end of the process he did not tell me about the amenities of the hotel or there is a breakfast, thus the next morning I was driving all around the area trying to find a decent hot breakfast when the whole time there was one right there in the lobby. Thanks mr night auditor. On my second day I asked the front desk about some information on my check out, this time I got a nice overly excited female who was more interested in the enthusiasm of her response than in listening to what I was asking. I cannot say no-one listens there, just that of the people I spoke to, they did not listen. One was rude, the other just reminded me of a wind up doll giving pre-written answers that do not even match the question. The breakfast, after I found it is pretty good. The room was decent, carpet a bit worn and where the carpet met the bathroom floor they joined it with duct tape. The floors are not very thick, so it can be loud on the first floor with people who walk heavy. The grounds look nice and the location is good, right off freeway. Would I stay there again? Sure. But I have to say the people at the front desk do not represent the company well. Need to retrain there and maybe mystery shop them to get a handle on what is going on.
“Lake Oswego Marriott Hotel”
This place was exceptional. I have told many about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Portland area. So glad we picked this one!! Our room was very comfortable for the three of us. It felt more like an apartment then a hotel room. We would have enjoyed just hanging around the hotel pool for the day. The full breakfast is awesome. When so many other places have scaled back their breakfasts to continental. It was the perfect start to our very busy days. Thanks again, we will be BACK!!
“Will stay there again”
Great little suite rooms. The sofa bed is not separate, but they are big, nice comfortable rooms with kitchens. Hotel in a lovely setting. Fantastic breakfast. Great front desk service.

Away from freeway noise, the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Quiet, dog-friendly.
