2 day 1 night respite and relaxation

Posted Mar 6, 2015
2 day 1 night. I was offered very early check in, offered to use all the amenities at the hotel as well. Don't think you should have to pay for parking $25, especially when the hotel was under construction. Should have been waived. I really could t tell construction was going on other then the entrance to the hotel. My room was very quiet, very comfortable, I ate in the hotel restaurant, very good services and food was excellent, had a excellent massage by Ryan- absolutely one of the best ones I've had. Spa had no music, ambiance was relaxing but would have been even more so if spa music was present. Also, took classes good but not very tailored. I am a member T The Grand Geneva Well Spa in Lake Geneva WI and yoga classes have little things that are offered like cool eye pads after yoga, coffee, tea, orange/lemon/ cucumber water, . My departure was good as well.

Quiet, spacious room... High recommended!

Had a great stay at River's Edge. Got great restaurant and shopping recommendations from the front desk. Valet attendents were very friendly and so helpful when asking for directions. The location of the hotel is aways from downtown but the quiet location and comfy room make up for it. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful facility

Pros: Location was good for our weekend plans. Not too much in the thick of things but a good location for traveling.
Cons: Maybe a few more options on the Room Service menu. Basics not fancy foods.
Location: Easy to get places via the roads and freeways close-by.
We greatly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the river. (Even though there was daily construction going on at the site. The view over the river was perfect. We enjoyed the food at the adjoining restaurant. The wait staff was very warm and welcoming.

Near the river and easy access to downtown

Great room, comfortable bed. Restaurant and bar are great too if you have time to check them out. Easy access to downtown via public transport or they can give you a ride downtown as well.

big city escape

Pros: spa was exceedingly clean
Cons: ALL boutique hotels should change their check out policy....Check in at 4pm....check out 4 pm the next day.
Location: on the river. We upgraded to a river view. A great bike path and nice pubs and cafes near by.
A little difficult to find in the dark but nothing that a gps app would not solve.(we don't have it) It was quiet , elegant yet casual, refined but not pretentious.

Dated, but nice

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: The spa & the restaurant were both good. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Seemed very 2001 with the decor.
Location: Too far from downtown. Not much to do, was in an industrial park.
Hotel staff was very nice. We were offered free parking and 15 % off at the spa as Expedia Gold members, and our room was "upgraded" automatically, the room was larger, but it was just a big awkward room that faced the parking lot not the river. We asked to be put in the smaller room because that's what we had reserved and it seemed cozier butt, it had been given away before we even checked in :(. Free sauna, hot tub, and steam room was very nice though. If it weren't so far from downtown, we'd probably stay there again, but it was off the beaten path more so than the map made it seem. Staff was nice, room was clean, and it was just fine.

Just okay

Hotel needs an update. Minimal water pressure in a moldy shower.
