Quick business trip to PortlandPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Hotel restaurant. Free flavored water in lobby. Pretty views.
Cons: Obviously, the hotel will be even better once construction was complete. Valet was a little inconvenient, but the staff was helpful in that regard.
Location: Close to downtown. Access to a hike and bike trail steps from the hotel lobby.
The hotel was under construction during my stay, but the hotel did a wonderful job of making guests feel accommodated for the inconvenience. Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Enjoyable hotel restaurant with lovely view. Access to walking trail. Great location near downtown.

Beautiful view of the river- incredible staff!Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The staff and location
Location: The possibilities are endless- it is a short walk from a Portland Streetcar stop and from there you can go anywhere!
We chose River Edge because of the close proximity to OHSU facilities and city transportation. We were greeted by friendly staff outside who helped us unload, staff inside assisted us with an early check in, and were very kind helping us map out the stops we wanted to make downtown Portland. Every hotel staff member we were contact with were professional, kind, and helpful. In addition, the view from our room was spectacular- beautiful trees and the river made it seem even more serene. We will most definitely chose River Edge again!

Wonderful River's EdgePosted May 14, 2015
Pros: The Staff, the location, the gym and spa
Location: The river, the city, cycling, running.
I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions while visiting from overseas and can't get over how helpful and friendly all of the staff are at this hotel. From the moment you arrive until you check out, nothing is too much trouble for them. Any requests are accommodated. The location is great for a stroll along the river or catching the street care into the city. Thank you to all at the hotel for making my stays there wonderful.

nice enough hotelPosted May 13, 2015
Hotel seemed not quite worth the high price but beds were pretty comfortable and spa was lovely! A bit far from downtown, but would be great in the hot weather with the walking trail and patio dining. Not as fun in the rain.

Nice setting on the river.Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: It was very clean even for the construction going on.
Cons: I'm sure it will be better once the construction is completed.
Location: A few good food choices within walking distance. A good place to walk along the river.
Most conveniences were close by, tough to get to, parking was also an issue, but the hotel was very nice. Very relaxing for my 1 night stay. I was there for business and it was very comfortable.

Right on the RiverPosted May 10, 2015
Best place to stay right on the river with a terrific restaurant next door with a patio that over looks the river. Easy drive into the city.

Quiet relaxing placePosted May 6, 2015
I travelled for business and was delighted to discover such a great place. I especially enjoyed the complimentary SPA and bike rent . The hotel is located just in the right place - not far from the downtown, yet in a very quiet place near a river. Would recommend it to everyone.

QUIET even in the city!Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: The service.
Cons: Fresh fruit (apples or bananas) to grab and go for walks on bike ride.
Location: Corbett Fish house, about 3 minutes away was fantastic and voodoo doughnuts was about 8 minutes away. (Driving)
I appreciated the prompt service. We were parked (by free valet) check in and in our rooms in less the 15 minutes! Staff was very friendly and informative. Love the fact that they offer fresh fruit infused water 24hrs a day in the lobby. Very nice refresher. The rooms were nice and the beds were extremely comfortable.
