After prepaying for our two rooms, we were told on several occasions that we needed to pay more. After checking their records, they found that we were paid up, but this happened at least three times during our stay.
The most significant problem was than $110 worth of cosmetics (nine separate items!) went mysteriously missing after the room had been cleaned one day. Was it the maid? Was it someone who saw the room open and unattended while the maid did something else for a moment? You can draw your own inferences, as we did, but the items "lost" were a minority of the cosmetics we brought, and someone might have thought that they would not be missed. They were missed, immediately upon our return to the room. The management was informed of the loss but shrugged it off. The goods, of course, were never returned.
