“absolutely loved it”

It was a great experience! The staff was great and very friendly! Room was clean, big and more than I expected. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

“Comfortable and friendly”

Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. It was easy to get there from the airport, and there were plenty of cafes nearby. The hallway carpets could use an upgrade, but the price is hard to beat!

“I will stay at Shilo Inn again.”

We spent a night as a family and loved where it is located - close to Memorial Coliseum where the Winterhawks play, and to restaurants for dinner. We will definitely go back.

“Perfect for Overnight Stay!”

Went to see Michael Jackson the Immortal/Cirque de Soliel at Rose Garden, looking for good location, clean motel to stay in overnight with kids. Worked out just great and would use the Shiloh Inn again.

“what you would expect”

This is inexpensive hotel in nok neighborhood. For what you paid, it's not bad.. its basic lodging. don't expect too much and you'll be very satisfied

“Conveniently Located”

The hotel is very conveniently located near both a MAX station and the Oregon Convention Center. I was thrilled that I could walk to and from the convention I was attending in just 5 minutes. The rooms are also in fairly good condition - a good deal for the price.

“Hotel really sucks and has bugs”

Single room with "KIng bed" was so small, they didn't even put any chairs or tables in it. Just a bed (queen size) and armoir. Didn't expect much for the price, but don't advertise King if you do not have a King. Also ended up with some flea or bedbug bites on my legs. Staff was nice though.

“shilo inn Rose garden Portland Ore. needs serious work”

Old flat pillows on bed. NO soap or hair conditioner in the room. told receptionist and he said they had a problem with ordering so they didnt have any. Room only had 1/2 roll of toilet paper in bathroom with no extra paper available for use. Mold in the bathroom around the tub area. After maid service the next morning, they didnt replace any used glasses with fresh ones, they just left them on the counter. I discussed the situation with receptionist on leaving and he said he was sorry, but did'nt make any kind of gesture to make it right. Probably would not go back there again. This property needs some serious work with the staff to care a little bit more about the conditions for the customers who stay there.

Area recommendations

i would stay on the west side of town closer to the river. There are much nice hotels there with great viewsof the river and city. and much more to do and see.

Lloyd Center is a nice mall that has a lot to see and do. Great shopping there

Events and shows

Very close to the Rose Garden for concerts, shows etc.
