Breakfast

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: The location to our needs in town
Cons: The lighting and the Breakfast offerings, like milk for cereal, and butter for the toast and maybe some muffins and bagles etc to make it a better.
Needs to have a better offering for breakfast, like mike for cereal and butter for the toast and maybe a few other offerings!

convenient for convention center events

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: the price
Cons: the staff. they're jerks.
Location: convention center. pizza schmizza.
the staff was TERRIBLE. mean, condescending, and manipulative. they made us pay in full upon check-in (never even heard of this before) and acted surprised when we didn't understand the procedure.

Good Hotel, but No Good Customers...

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: The staff. The price. Free continental breakfast.
Cons: Door. (it shuts very loudly.) Wall. (it needs sound proof.)
Location: Near convention center. Near Railroad stations.
Overall, it is a good hotel. The staff was very kind, and the location is convenient enough because there is a station close by. We decided to stay there because it was cheaper than other hotels. Maybe that's why some of those who stayed there were not nice. People in next room came back to the room very late; they shut the door very loudly and they started talking on the phone in the hallway, which we clearly could hear after midnight. Maybe the wall of the hotel was very thin or it's just people who afford cheaper hotels...anyway, it may not be the hotel's fault but we think we should choose a bit nicer hotel next time.

St. Patty's Day weekend stay over.

Posted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, modern updates to the room, good temperature control.
Cons: Nothing to improve other than the mold in the bathroom around the tub.
Hotel room pics were exactly like as expected on the website. A little bit of mold around the bath tub, but I know that is a tough battle. The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Parking was free compared to all surrounding hotels! It was a great convenience to make a short walk to the Rose Quarter MAX station to ride downtown, hit the food carts, and enjoy Powell's and a nice day out in the sunshine. Overall, we had a great experience!!!!!

Convenient location but outdated

Posted Feb 13, 2014
This hotel is located very close to the Rose Quarter/Moda Center which was why we booked it. The hotel had very outdated rooms, smelled like 40 years of cigarette smoke, and the wi-fi did not work at all. Do yourself a favor and shell out the extra money for the Crowne Plaza across the street.

Centrally located in Portland

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Medium price range with lots of amenities.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: Convention Center, Moda Center, Coliseum, MassTransit
Lots of help from staff to find Arena and restaurants. The weekend we stayed happened to be the snowstorm. Very accommodating personnel. Easy access to mass transit.

Very nice port in the storm!

Posted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: The room was very comfortable.
Cons: I arrived at my room at 10:00 pm and left at 7:00 am the next morning for work. In my short stay, I didn't see anything that needed improving.
Location: This location is near the convention center and the Moda Center. The Lloyd Center is nearby for shopping as well as many great restaurants.
This hotel is close to my work so when "Snowmaggedeon" started on February 6th, 2014, I made the decision to stay overnight in town and not chance driving home. My daily commute is 1.5 hours a day EACH direction and the roads were already 100% gridlocked. My room was very classy and the bed was comfortable. Great experience over all and I will definitely stay again.

Close to convention center.

Posted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: Everything was within walking distance, we wanted milk late at night and the 7-11 was only across the road.
Cons: Water pressure, and the control for hot and cold was very hard to regulate.
We were visiting from out of town for the Comic con convention and this hotel was very handy and small, we felt very safe.

OK but calling the room as a Mini Suite a bit of

Posted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: It was close to convention center.
Cons: Lower the price.
Location: Convention Center, food, fuel and easy to get to freeways.
It was safe and close to my venue, a bit overpriced for the conveniencies.
