“Yes, I will say very satisfied with this Super 8.”

This experience ranked up there with the best stay at a hotel I've ever had. The place was clean and efficiently run. I had a fine first floor room. I found the desk clerk to a be a sincerely sweet and courteous person to me. I guess that is what certainly made my day but also, since there was nothing wrong with my accommodations, that meant there was no down-side.

“Perfect for everyone”

The location is great -- one minute away from a MAX blue-line station, so you could stay there and go anywhere you want in Portland with ease (or park your car, if you have one, in their large parking lot). My room was very comfortable, and included a sofa, a work-table, a chair, a TV, and even a coffee machine. The tub was great, and the shower-head was adjustable. The bed was a little too soft for me, and the internet requires login each time you start up your computer, but that's the only criticism I have (well, my room was upstairs, so I had to carry my luggage there, but I haven't asked for help, so perhaps you could if you need it). The facilities include laundry machines (open 24 hours), and they offer a complimentary breakfast. Best of all, Beky at the reception was wonderful; she's a hoot and a half.

“Great hotel for a young girl”

I had a great experience at this hotel! I am an 18 year old girl and felt comfortable and safe staying at this hotel alone. It easy to get to since the MAX drive one block away. The wireless worked fine, the staff nice, the room clean. A little noisy sometimes, but didn't spend much time at the hotel. Beds comfortable. Breakfast not the best, but as expected. I was definitely positively surprised and can recommend this to other people, students, girls who are looking for an affordable place to stay in Portland.

“Met our expectations”

The front desk person was very cheerful. The non-smoking room smelled clean. The room was quiet, which was a bit surprising. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The room included the expected amenities of shampoo, soap, shower gel, and hair blower. It also had a small refrigerator and microwave. We had a special room that included filtered water from the tap. The furniture was chipped, and one would sink down nearly to the floor in the somewhat comical easy chair resulting in a lower rating for comfort. Free internet access was a big selling point for us. The surrounding neighborhood is far from scenic, but it was close to where we wanted to be. It was easy to find off of I-205. It was comfortable enough and we would stay there again.

“Some Concerns about this hotel.”

I can say that I had absolutely no problems as far as the hotel itself goes. The room was comfortable, clean, and quite, all at an affordable rate. My concern was when I pulled into the parking lot and a local Fox TV station's broadcast van was parked there, with their antenna up doing a broadcast. Upon turning on the local Fox news after unpacking the car, I find out that some other family who was staying at this hotel recently had their car broke into, and some very special family memories stolen. Namely a video tape of their recently deceased son. Very tragic event, but also concerning in that I don't want to stay at any hotel that I know for sure has a history of break-ins. Besides this little tidbit, the hotel was fine, but I sure wouldn't take my chances with a place that I know for sure has people breaking into their guest's vehicles.
