Very clean & confortable.Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Very clean!
Cons: can't think of anything!
Location: Would love to go back here in the summer. Many places were closed during this time of year. The town looks awesome when it is the season.
Our stay was during the off season so we really got to enjoy the peacefulness, quaintness and tranquility of this inn. I hope to return!

It was a beautiful hotel. I wish we could have appreciated it more but it was cold and couldn't enjoy sitting outside on the porch.. Will have to go bad when it is warmer. We had a room on the third floor. It was spacious and clean and comfortable. Will be going back.

Nice hotel. Excellent location.Posted Mar 23, 2015
We got the last of the King Rooms, so we had a somewhat obstructed view of the water. That's what you get when you procrastinate! Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever. The Staff was second to none, and were helpful at every turn. Stay here! You will enjoy it!

Lovely Spot Anytime of the YearPosted Mar 12, 2015
It was our first time staying at The Breakwater. Parking was easily accessible. Riley was a wonderfully welcoming staff member who was very thorough and attentive to our arrival. She was also so informative (provided map and perfect directions) regarding recreational activities, places to eat and shops to explore. Breakfast on Sunday was delicious and comfortable. Two problems in our room were that the tv did not work and we had to have staff come upstairs twice to fix it, and the heater was so loud that we had to turn it down so low in order for it not to roar like an engine. We know that these issues will be rectified because it is so obvious that The Breakwater aims to please their guests in every way possible.

spa onlyPosted Nov 27, 2011
If you want to go for spa purposes, then go. It is perfect for massages or a steam room or their gym. Otherwise, the place is not worth it. It has a stiffness and snobbery about it (really, for a place overlooking a parking lot?) ....In this day and age of keeping costs in reason, it lacks the comfort and the warm hospitality of a Bed and Breakfast .....

will return in autumnPosted Nov 11, 2009
Beautifull location, quiet and peacefull location. One of best sunset views in the area. Sorry we could only stay for two nights. Usually stay at the nearby Yatchman hotel but the views and setting of this hotel are better. Huge room with huge balcony (room # 6). Will certainly be back (indian summer)
