Great for attending Concert at Schnitzer

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Classy all the way.
Cons: Chair in room would be nice.
Location excellent since Schnitzer is next door. Pricey, but no better options in that area.

Hotel Stay at the Heathman Hotel in Portland 06/20

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Location: Location is good. Located in beautiful downtown Portland, Pioneer square. Architecture is pleasant to look at. Lots of good restaurants!
Wanted to stay at this hotel for its reasonable price with Expedia and the historic history of the hotel. Was somewhat disappointed with this experience. We were in room 320 and stayed one night. Couldn't sleep due to a noise happening all night long (that we couldn't quite put our finger on as to it source). My daughter thought it was the turnstile door where people were entering in the lobby. I thought is was from the wind hitting a window screen or the branches of a tree brushing up against the outside of the building. Also, found the room temperature control to be very noisy when adjusted for the air conditioner. Finally, a continuous strong odor was noted throughout the stay in the hallways. Appeared to be the odor of cleaning products used in hotel bathrooms. Finally, felt the parking charge of $39.00 a night was a little steep. Probably would not stay there again and would not make a recommendation to do so in the future. Thanks.

すごく過ごしやすいホテルでした。ヒルトンやウェスティンなどとも少し違い格式あるホテル。ベッドメイクの時間がバラバラ過ぎて帰ってきてもまだされていなかったり…。それ以外は最高でした。

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The staff was courteous and ready to assist in any way. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable. Was not bothered by noises from the halls or other room. Would definitely stay here again!

Elegant but relaxed

We stayed here as a last minute splurge before going to a concert at the Schnitzer. We got a great discount rate on Expedia and had a lovely stay. Very comfortable room (loved the chaise lounge) and lovely service. Eating at their restaurant is a must.

Great location; beautiful and unique decor. Hotel staff was friendly and even provided me with a free shaving kit, which they normally charge for.

Fabulous Room & Service

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: I appreciated the room, the location and service. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was quiet.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: The hotel is walking distance to downtown shopping, Nordtrom's, the Portland Art Museum, urban parks, the Keller Auditorium and other venues.
I was in town for one night to catch The Phantom of The Opera and to celebrate a friend's birthday. The Heathman Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of shopping, great restaurants and the Portland Art Museum. The service was outstanding, I arrived back from a full day of sight seeing and was too late to enjoy the wine tasting but the staff gave me a lovely glass of Pinot Grigio anyway. The onsite library is wonderful! We arrived early, 11: 00 AM and were able to checkin to our room at that time. That was such a plus!

Nice Hotel in Downtown Portland

Posted May 24, 2015
Cons: The bathrooms were very small and didn't have much counter space, although the sink was about as big as a dinner plate. Put the TV higher on a wall.
Location: We walked to the mall, there is a nice park, lots of great places to eat, not to mention a lot of great art around town!
The Heathman Hotel is centrally located and it is easy to walk around to get where you want to go or you can take the L. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The bed is a little high, luckily I'm not short. The TV was on a stand about equal to the bed height so if your covers were bunched up at all and you were laying down, it would be difficult to see unless propped up on pillows. The staff were very helpful and top notch!
