Nice room-loud guestsPosted Feb 18, 2014
Cons: most everything
Location: close to stores, cafes, events
I was looking forward to a nice quiet long weekend in Vancouver, WA. No such luck. The Inn at Salmon Creek has cute rooms and nice owner...but...the mattress was hard; no hot water in bathroom sink; uncomfortable pillows. The worst-the NOISE! Each night the "guests" next to me were so LOUD-arguing, slamming doors, driving in/out parking lot several times in un-muffled cars. I had no sleep. Nice price for room but waste of time.

Excellent Value HotelPosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Very clean. Desk clerk friendly and accommodating. Located close to restaurants and venue attended at the Salmon Creek United Methodist Church.
Cons: Harder beds and thicker blankets.
Cute clean rooms with kitchenettes at less than the price of an average room.

Not good. There was a lot of noise after midnight. There was noise from the neighbor room. I tried to check out at 7:30 in the morning, the manager did not wake up, when I pushed the door bell, the manager got very mad because he had to wake up. I will never stay there again.

Worn but reasonable.Posted Oct 22, 2013
Hotel is run down, but quiet and good enough for a night's sleep. I found garbage in the bathroom of my room, but the staff quickly moved me to another room next door that had been properly cleaned. The rrom is about what you pay for it.

think twicePosted Oct 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are at the front of the inn you can hear the drone of traffic on I-5, at the back you can hear the 205! Wi-Fi was not working properly in the room at the back of the property. Fridge door had been left open by housekeeping with some old rags in the doorway. There was also a partially defrosted ready meal in the freezer compartment. The coffee machine seemed to have been used to make noodle soup and had not been cleaned by either the last guest or by housekeeping. The shower was powerful, but the downside being extremely noisy plumbing... Not a restful night.

Location is great, but that's itPosted Sep 29, 2013
The hotel itself looked pretty quaint outside with the brick walls, and the decor was fine, but the pillows were not comfortable and the sheets were stained with what I'm optimistically hoping was ketchup. Also the shower was very inconsistent with its temperature, switching between molten magma and glacial water at a moments notice.
