Excellent courteous staff in downtown location.

Pros: Staff, location comfort
Location: Voodoo donuts, nike town
We wanted to stay close to the river for running. Staff provided excellent choices for dinner, shopping and running route. Be sure to check out voodoo donuts a few minutes walk away. Relaxing, plush, knowledgable staff in beautiful fun filled city of portland!

Room For Improvement

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The staff was truly helpful. The central location was great.
Cons: Fix the beds and do something about the infrastructure.
I expected a luxury hotel. Instead the room was small and noisy...the bed gave me back spasms...the housekeeping staff was superficial...the elevators were creaky (In fact, one day, they broke!). The concierge was great; she arranged for a couple of amenities to help make my week-long stay easier. The rest of the staff was also helpful and personable.

Central location, spotless, great service

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Great location, spotless rooms
Cons: Lacks a bit of personality
Location: Food trucks, running, explore downtown
I stayed here for 4 days on a business trip. The location is great, downtown, close to public transportation, running trails along the water, and across the street from a good cluster of food trucks.

Nice hotel. It was centrally located to downtown.

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: I would stay there again.
Cons: The room was dusty in some places. Nothing obvious but something I noticed.
Location: Perfect location for anyone visiting downtown Portland.
I only stayed one night while visiting Portland but wished it could have been longer. The hotel was certainly perfectly located for shopping and meeting friends downtown Portland.

Centrally located to activities downtown.

Pros: Hotel is centrally located but still quiet.
Location: Go in June and experience the Portland Rose parade. For a small community, it put on impressive display. Locals were friendly. It was lots of fun.
Quiet, clean hotel. Food in restaurant was good but a but pricey.

Plumbing nightmare

Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
valet parking was wonderful, great staff, overall visit would have been 5 star, except we had plumbing issues the entire stay, the bathroom toilet did not flush and would back up, we had them plunge the toilet several times into the night, and at 6a.m., they gave us a neighboring room to accommodate our restroom needs! Very inconvenient.
