Clean friendly hotel in a great area!

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location to amenities
Location: Clean well lit vacation with many restaurants and shopping plaza nearby
Stayed here for 2 nights while in the area to attend a concert. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was extremely helpful with our questions in regards to amenities in the area. Lots of restaurants and shopping within a block or 2 of the hotel and the overall area itself was very clean and well lit in the night. Will definitely stay here again on future visits.

The Staff being argumentative

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: when we first got there the guy at the desk helped us carry stuff to our room and was very helpful...it was very much appreciated.
Cons: customer service needs some improving
Location: location to stores and food was very close by.
my second day I was gone all day, I hung the maid service required sign on the door, upon entering the room I noticed no one had been in the room, no clean towels, no garbage emptied. my daughter called the desk and they said that the sign on the door must have been turned around and said do not disturb....I went to the front desk and the guy tried to tell me that we had the lock on the door. he even asked me how I got in my room, I said with the key card. that someone else must have a key card and was in our room...I told him I hope not! that My daughter and I were at a family reunion all day and no one else has a key card...the placard I hung on the door said maid service, when we returned.. I have never had a hotel clerk argue with me.

Wierd location

Bed was great. Shower pressure weak. Overall not to bad. Location was weird because u cannot just drive into their parking lot. U have make a u-turn or drive into a near by shopping outlet to get to the other side of the street. It was ok though.

Great accommendations for the price

Pros: Its location and comfortable room.
Cons: Add a waffle maker and more fruit with their breakfest.
Location: Great location close to alot of fast food places and major freeways.
The room was very clean and well maintained. comfortable bed and the shower head was great not like most hotels where they have water saver shower heads. The continental breakfest was good they had Jimmy Dean croissant sausage and a variety of muffins, and bagels. The best feature of this hotel is its location, close to alot of resturants in walking distance 3-8 mins walk and also close to several freeways. The only negative response I have is that there is no elevator so you have to lug your bags up to the 2nd floor, other then that we had a good experience at this hotel.

Very convenient location. Just wish it was easier access to the stores, restaurants there. You have to drive all the way over the bridge to the I-5 South entrance and then turn around just to get across the street. So, we just walked. What's a little rain. Would definitely stay again.

a real family friendly motel, very convenient

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: being able to walk to several places for meals
Cons: it had just changed names, so a sign with the right name - which they say will happen next week
Location: very easy access from both the I-5 and the I-405, although the traffic into Portland was atrocious
We wanted a place close to Portland that was family friendly so we could take our grandchildren, ages 6, 4 and 2 to the science museum. They wanted to swim. This pool was just the right size, the breakfast was good, and we all had a great time. The bonus was that there are several restaurants, a grocery store and other stores within easy walking distance, and this motel has both a microwave and a refrigerator in each room.

Hotel in transition.

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: See above.
Location: The hotel is located at the junction of several main highway exits, so it is easy to get to nearby cities where one might have business.
I booked a two-night reservation for a hotel listed under one name, only to get a call the next day (when I was already on the road) that I should expect to see a different name in front of the hotel. Without that call, I would have been looking for ages! Apparently the hotel is converting from one owner to another, and things like a new sign were not yet in place. Likewise anything in the room with info like check-out time. Having said that, my stay was very comfortable, the hotel is very conveniently located, and the staff is terrific!
