"Good hotel. A little pricey."
Staff were really exceptional. From the people at the front desk to the restaurant staff. Very professional and helpful and personable. I would make sure their air conditioning/heating system is functioning if you make a booking. I found the price a little steep for this hotel, but I also booked last minute so maybe the price was inflated. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was well lit. (A small thing, but not if you apply make up!) Our room was small but tasteful and clean. I like that you can opt for no daily cleaning and receive $5 off per night.

"Lovely Hotel"
The staff were wonderful! The location was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The only downside of my stay was the line up and the lack of seating during the 6 pm for wine and beer in the lobby area.

Great hotel right in the middle of downtown Portland. The only issue we had was with the bathtub drain being semi-clogged. I'm not sure if it was functionally checked before the room was released for the next customer. If this could just be reviewed for next time, that would be great. Otherwise, again, a great hotel experience. Thanks!

"Bargain Hotel"
I chose this hotel purely for the bargain. In the ad they said they had a shuttle and free breakfast. More savings. Unfortunately they just changed their name and the airport had never heard of them so make sure you call the hotel directly for a shuttle. Even though it says airport area it is not near a restaurant or anything that you can walk to so keep that in mind. The location is a little further out then most of the other hotels. Breakfast is just coffee, juice and toast. That is it. The people were very nice. They do not service your room every day.

Great bikes to use! Delicious restaurant next door. Lovely spa. Nice to be out of the chaos of downtown. Walk the waterfront. Negatives: $50 for a pet...but hey, you get to have your dog at least! Only $25 valet parking option unless you want to walk a mile up hill.

"Very nice modern hotel!"
The staff was very helpful with everything - from directions, to parking, and general accommodation. The hotel itself was very new, (I mean literal new carpet smell) modern motif, and the restaurant/bar had just opened the day before our arrival with a large variety of drinks from around the Portland area. So, yes. NEW. If you like the modern edgy look and it's a great place to stay. The only thing I can think of that might have been off-putting was the fur-esque throw blanket on the bed. (It sheds like crazy, so don't roll around on it's joyful softness with a black shirt on...like I may or may not have done...) Otherwise fantastic stay!
