"Great hotel 5 minutes to Pineer square"
The hotel is very comfy. I love their Italian beddings! Even it's a historical building, no weird smell at all. And it's really convieniant to stay here, with a dinner place just downstairs.

"Nice hotel, across from airport"
Very comfortable hotel, beds wonderful! Full breakfast, including bacon, eggs, and waffles. Great value. The only downside is there is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage and are on the second floor, it is difficult.

"A great place to stay"
We recently spent 2 nights at the Phoenix Inn, in Tigard, Or. and were very comfortable Easy access off highway 1-5, rooms clean, pleasant, and comfortable. Amenities included frig, microwave, and coffee pot, wireless internet, and nice seating area separated from the sleeping area. We did not use the pool ( which was lovely), or the gym. The breakfast room was pleasant and there were a variety of foods available. Fare was simple, but plentiful, and the coffee, Seattle' s Best brand, was delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

"Everything great, exceptional staff"
I was satisfied with everything, and when we checked out, the clerk asked how things were, and I jokingly remarked fine except for the noisy people next door. She was immediately apologetic, and offered us free breakfast, which I thought was very gracious.

"Beautiful, Quaint, relaxing"
Loved this little room! It is smaller by most American standards, but I loved it. I was only one person though and it might have been too crowded for two ( 1-bed, Q-size). Very clean. Quiet! My room faced the interior block on the 9th floor. Good gym (except for the grunting, sweaty guy, but there is always one, isn't there?). I ran the stairs and that was a good workout too ( 9 floors). I walked everywhere, to the Pearl, to the SW, to the water. About 15 min each direction. Great staff, new everything a wheat-allergy gal needs. High recommendation.

"Good stay while visiting PSU"
Stayed here on a two night visit to Portland, during which we had to spend one day in downtown. Traffic in that stretch of freeway to downtown is a bear, but short enough to still be convenient. Location was a bit hard to find at first (signs on street entrances are pretty small) but a nice, quieter place to go after being in busy downtown all day. Wish there were more decent restaurants near the hotel. Overall room was quite nice, comfortable - nice amenities (excellent refrigerator!) nice tv, microwave, wine cooler, and even a safe (we did not have use for anything but the refrigerator) . Very clean. One complaint is no venting/fan in bathroom - which was more noticeable since coffeemaker was set up in there.

"Nice hotel close to airport"
We checked in at around 11 am. We were told that there were not yet any rooms. When I said my husband needed a rest, they found a room for us, We appreciated that a lot. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. No noise from the next room. We liked our cup of tea while we were using wifi which worked very well. The shuttle bus next morning early was on time. A pleasurable stay.
