"Great hotel, great location, great staff!!"
We had a wonderful stay at the Paramount Hotel. The staff was outstanding and helpful with everything. The concierge made dinner reservations for us at fantastic restaurants and planned day trips for us including printed directions. Even when I brought my car to the valet they were friendly, offered to carry our shopping bags and always asked if we needed anything. I was so pleasantly surprised at what a great hotel this is. The location is close to shopping, coffee shops and lots of restaurants. My entire family, without a doubt, would stay at the Paramount Hotel again if we were in Portland.

"Cozy hotel with wonderful staff and amenities"
Our 4 night stay was incredible. We were upgraded from hillside to riverside for free for booking with expedia. Everyone associated with the was friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations and tips about the city. Hotel provided free day passes to the street car which was a very short walk from the hotel. The fitness center is large with newer equipment and yoga class was included at no charge. The valet/shuttle was very easy to schedule and far more comfortable than a cab. Bikes were also available for free, and the valet provided us with great instructions and a map to get around. I really cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Even the coffee in the lobby was great!

"Great location and interesting decoration"
A typical Kimpton hotel, with unique room decoration, free wine reception each evening, free coffee in the morning and snacks in the afternoon. The suite was huge, and comfortable. A great location in the middle of downtown - everything is a short walk away. The only down side is the city noise on a Friday evening - this isn't the fault of the hotel but a result of its location. It was quite on a Saturday - July 4th may have contributed.

"Very nice well maintained hotel in a good area"
The place has a classic feel. Very well appointed and the staff is professional. Only downside was that my room faced an alley, as does probably half of their rooms.

"Beautiful, Quaint, relaxing"
Loved this little room! It is smaller by most American standards, but I loved it. I was only one person though and it might have been too crowded for two ( 1-bed, Q-size). Very clean. Quiet! My room faced the interior block on the 9th floor. Good gym (except for the grunting, sweaty guy, but there is always one, isn't there?). I ran the stairs and that was a good workout too ( 9 floors). I walked everywhere, to the Pearl, to the SW, to the water. About 15 min each direction. Great staff, new everything a wheat-allergy gal needs. High recommendation.
