"Great boutique hotel"
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and several local destinations. The rooms are super comfy and have a modern décor. The one downside was that I visited in mid March and it was un-seasonably warm outside (apparently) and the rooms were hot. The hotel has an HVAC system that is set for the seasons and the room could not be made any cooler. The staff was apologetic, but everyone made the same complaint at checkout- something that the hotel needs to look in to. The best part was the concierge. He helped me plan my day and even made me my own walking maps to hit all that I was trying to see. After a cross country flight, I wanted to walk everywhere. He was very helpful and entertaining and understood just what I was after. I would recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat, even with the toasty room.

"Excellent staff, no pool, little parking."
The staff members made our two night stay very pleasant. The room was somewhat small, but nicely furnished. I was disappointed that a hotel titled as a "spa" did not have a swimming pool only an "Adults Only" jacuzzi. The restaurant was classy, moderately priced, and the food was decent. No on-site parking and while the valets will park your car for free during the day, the overnight charge is $25 per! My lower rating for "facilities" reflected the building construction going on while I was there.

"Convenient location"
The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay except for for a couple of glitches. The key didn't always work in the outside door. Sometimes it would take a number of tries. There was no phone book in the room. Made no effort to get one. No pad or pen to write information down.

"Nicely updated"
This hotel has been beautifully updated. It still has some tell tale signs of being an old building (textured ceilings) but it doesn't take away from the comfort. The restaurant is right by the water and incredibly beautiful at sunset. I expect to be back. (Ps. If airplanes wake you up, start white noise on youe phone. That should take care of it.)

Room near elevator so heard elevator bell all night long, us you can hear toilets flushing in nearby rooms. Hearing someone shower at 4:30 a.m. and hearing the elevator and police sirens from street below made for an unpleasant night's sleep. Hotel nice but room location was definitely not!
