"Great hotel in center of downtown"
The Heathman is a classic hotel, great character. Rooms on the small side, but clean and well cared for. Staff unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The bar has great appetizers and desserts!

"Great boutique hotel"
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and several local destinations. The rooms are super comfy and have a modern décor. The one downside was that I visited in mid March and it was un-seasonably warm outside (apparently) and the rooms were hot. The hotel has an HVAC system that is set for the seasons and the room could not be made any cooler. The staff was apologetic, but everyone made the same complaint at checkout- something that the hotel needs to look in to. The best part was the concierge. He helped me plan my day and even made me my own walking maps to hit all that I was trying to see. After a cross country flight, I wanted to walk everywhere. He was very helpful and entertaining and understood just what I was after. I would recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat, even with the toasty room.

"2 day 1 night respite and relaxation"
2 day 1 night. I was offered very early check in, offered to use all the amenities at the hotel as well. Don't think you should have to pay for parking $25, especially when the hotel was under construction. Should have been waived. I really could t tell construction was going on other then the entrance to the hotel. My room was very quiet, very comfortable, I ate in the hotel restaurant, very good services and food was excellent, had a excellent massage by Ryan- absolutely one of the best ones I've had. Spa had no music, ambiance was relaxing but would have been even more so if spa music was present. Also, took classes good but not very tailored. I am a member T The Grand Geneva Well Spa in Lake Geneva WI and yoga classes have little things that are offered like cool eye pads after yoga, coffee, tea, orange/lemon/ cucumber water, . My departure was good as well.

"Convenience close to PDX"
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. I was there for only a few hours so didn't get to try either of the restaurants. The only concern is that the hotel does NOT have elevators, so those who don't want to haul heavy luggage up stairs should request a first floor room.

"Wonderful Staff and location!"
The staff was very knowledgeable about how to get to nearby places and with recommendations on where to eat. The hotel was gorgeous with lots of amenities And within walking distance of eveverything. I wish the bathrooms were a little nicer for the price. I was kind of hoping for a nice bath as we were there on our honeymoon.

"Quiet location"
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It's an older hotel, and some of the fixtures are worn, but this was not really a problem for me. I was able to work undisturbed, and when I needed the staff, they were available and pleasant.
