Good Hotel in PortoPosted May 27, 2014
Pros: Good helpful staff, hotel is clean and actually in retrospect, not a bad position. Great view from bar on 17th floor.
Cons: Breakfast shocking. Only 2 wait staff to clean/replenish buffet table which often, over 4 days was devoid of fruits, bread. It was actually pathetic
Location: Location fine, a bit far from waterfront but ok. Plenty nice inexpensive restaurants in the area. Try a little chicken bar in the lane around corner
Oldish but nice and clean hotel in Porto. About 20-30 minutes down walk to Ribeira waterfront; steep climb back to hotel - take metro or bus 905 About 10 minutes from Santo Bento station (good if you want to catch trains say up the Douro, or to Braga etc) Very near TRINDADE metro stop which is the main metro crossing in Porto

Porto TripPosted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: The room and the location.
Location: Near the Market, the main shopping street and only a short walk to all the main sights.
We had a 4 night stay in Porto. We were pleased to be upgraded to a suite on the 16th Floor, and were happy with the Hotel. We would recommend it to someone visiting Porto

Very well located hotel.Posted Mar 25, 2014
Cons: Hotel Must change bed mattress
Location: Metro station, restaurants, Cafés, taxis etc
This hotel is well located in the heart of the city, in 5 minutes walk there is a Metro station(Trindade). There several small restaurants near by with great prices. There is a Cantina type restaurant across from the hotel... you can have a great coffee or a sandwich. The hotel is nice, clean and tidy. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. Hotel has a great breakfast with a variety of delicious breads etc. Our room was a bit small. The bed was not comfortable at all and our TV set was from the 80's and there are few TV stations.

Could be betterPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast.
Cons: The room was small and located near the heating pipes, so it was noisy. And the elevator was adding the noise. Terrible coffee. Only 1 power plug.
Location: Far from the center, but there are some restaurants nearby.
Stayed there for 2 nights to walk through Porto. The hotel is good to have an overnight, but not more.

Super hotel close to centrePosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Exactly as expected from previous reviews. The 17th floor bar especially good
Cons: A bit more capacity in breakfast room
Location: By foot, 7 mins to Trinity Metro for airport, 5 mins from main shops and 15 mins from historic front
Seamless check in & out, attentive staff, good facilities

In principle a good hotel but.......Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: Porto is a wonderful place in which to stay and see. If time take a river cruise
You need to find the metro or take a taxi to stay here. The best qualities are on the 17th floor with a superb restaurant and staff. Could not speak highly enough of the same. HOWEVER breakfast can be a nightmare as coach parties take up all the tables and you have nowhere to go. Pay for breakfast but receive none: Profit for the hotel. The hairdryers in the rooms are worthless and need to be updated

Very central with great facilitiesPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanness, great breakfast
Cons: Decoration, interiors
Location: Very close to the Mercado do Bolhão (about 10-15 minutes walk). Not very close do Cais da Ribeira, but could get there by metro. 10 min.
Couldn't have chosen a better hotel! Members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel decor is a bit dated, but the room was very comfortable and clean, with an amazing view of the city. Just a stone throw from Trindade metro station, it was easy to get anywhere from there (just 30 minutes from the airport). Highly recommended!
