Very convenient in city close to Sao Bento StnPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Convenient for public transport but in quiet street.
Ideal location in quiet side street a few minutes walk from Sao Bento Railway Station and Metro. Pleasant friendly hotel with classic décor. Derelict building across the street detracts a little from the surroundings but does not affect the hotel.

Amazing staff, right off the square ..Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The staff were attentive, polite and helpful.
Cons: The Wi-fi did not reach our room, and it was a little weak in other parts of the hotel.
Location: The hotel is right off Liberdade Square in the heart of the city. Tour buses, food and the train station are all nearby.
The staff were wonderful and made our stay the best of the whole trip we took. I must especially recount the mature gentleman who checked us in as being very professional, but the front desk staff during other shifts were also very polite. Even the young man who took care of the breakfast room was quiet and efficient, understanding that jarring dishes are not a sound that is pleasant to anyone who has recently gotten out of bed. A charming hotel with a seasoned staff. Very nice!

OK hotelPosted Oct 19, 2011
Central location and big room. Clean but some light bulbs didn't work and could do with some modernising. Reception service depended on who was there at the time (from polite to abrupt). Wifi didn't reach room (reception and bar only).
