Friendly front desk staff with modern decor. Location is perfect and central in Porto. Easily accessible to major metro stops. I would stay at this hostel again.

Value for money.
Good value for money as it is quite close to the main station connecting almost all areas of Porto. It does take a while for the showers to run hot water, but that is only minor. It is a quieter hostel so it is excellent for light sleepers.

Enjoy Porto!
This hostel is not in the middle of all the Porto action--which probably helps keep prices reasonable. It is staffed by student interns and other young adults--which matches the guest demographic. There's a laundry a couple of blocks away. I paid to have breakfast included--lots of options, including protein (ham and cheese). There's a guest fridge, too. Your bed will have an assigned locker--bring your own small lock or buy one from them. You can also rent towels if you didn't bring one. Walking tours depart from the lobby 3x a day, and you can get a glass of wine for only 1€ during the evening happy hour. The hostel IS close to Torre de Clerigos and Livraria Lello (which has a Harry Potter conection). You can get to most everything else in 10 minutes of walking--15 at most. When you check in, the staff will offer to suggest things you might like to see or do (they will also offer a map). The hostel is uphill from most things you might be seeing/doing--wear comfy walking shoes! If you are given a choice of bed, don't opt for the one just inside the room door, as the automatic light in the hallway goes on anytime someone steps out to use the bathroom. (At least one other hostel in town sells eye masks...). Also, be warned that Porto's "smoke-free building" definitions do NOT include the 30-foot perimeter we have in the US--expect some smoke to waft in through any open windows or doors. Porto is an amazing city--enjoy your stay!

Very friendly and helpful staffs. Room is clean. My room was on the top floor and the young male staffs help to carry my 2 large suitcase up to the 4th floor. 5 min walk to metro and very nice and cheap grill chicken rest nearby.

Touring Porto and loving it.
Secure building, area of town looks like rejuvenation is happening! Good wifi, beautiful outdoor space for relaxing. Nice kitchen/breakfast area. Our private room shared toilet and shower with another room. Good water pressure, room very tidy. My only issue; air conditioning was on a timer, shutting off in the night. You wake up in a stifling room with no air movement til you get up, push the button on the thermostat next to the door. A gurgling of water(?) for the longest time comes on and cool air movement is back. Makes for a somewhat sleepless night. Staff is friendly and bilingual. Assisted from free walking tours and free language classes, both very worthwhile, to directions and printing plane tickets. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Good price for a well located Porto Hostel
A well located and reasonably priced hostel, with easy access to the majority of sightseeing venues in Porto. Free continental breakfast provided and a helpful team of staff. Double room had access to a bathroom and shower room shared with one other room.

highly recommend stay in Porto
The hostel offered some cool fun tour opportunities. we did a free walking tour and it was great! The hostel also offered private rooms which was great for us, cleaniest hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff was super attentive and really helpful! This was a great location with restaurants easily within walking distance. Would stay here again my next trip to Porto!

Great value for the room
A very good stay overall. Very central location and the reception staff was extremely helpful. The only drawback was that it's very noisy on Saturday night and the window didn't seem to be sound-proof.

The Porto Lounge and Hostel was great - one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It is very close to the main square and the room/bathroom were great. Clean, tidy and somewhat modern. I was with one other friend and we had a double bed and shared our bathroom with only one other couple. It was great and would definitely recommend this to others.

Clean and welcoming
We only stayed for a quick overnight here, but our private room/shared bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The woman who checked us in was very welcoming, and it seems like they have lots of events planned that we didn't have a chance to take advantage of -- seemed like a fun and social place to spend some time.

Caro Francisco Lamentamos que não tenha gostado do café e dos sumos, já que temos apostado na boa qualidade dos produtos que oferecemos.Só pretendemos que os hóspedes lavem a sua própria loiça quando cozinham as suas próprias refeições. Nesse caso devem deixar a cozinha limpa para os outros hóspedes.

Gleich um die Ecke zum Bahnhof, 10 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt per Spaziergang. Es gibt gg. Aufpreis ein Frühstück. Restaurant im Hotel. In der Stadt gibt es komplette Mittagessen mit Nachtisch und Getränk für 7.- Euro. Einfach mal die schönen Seitenstraßen genießen bei einem Kaffee.

I stayed two nights. This hostel is known to be clean and We are planning to stay in a double room. I was careless. There ware a bed bug. Be not one or two. It ranged from small to large size. I got 50 bites of the bed bug. We had to look for hospitals and pharmacies. I've ruined my trip since that day. Now I returned home. And it's being treated. I don't want to recommend anybody this hostel. The evaluation score of the known hostel is false. I don't even want to remember. If you want to see a bed bug, It's good to go here.

Fantastisk beliggenhed med gåafstand til alt i Porto. Meget fint restaureret ejendom der var fint indrettet i lyse farver. Vi havde et dejligt familierum med tre sende og eget badeværelse. Eneste minus var at air-condtioningen larmede en del og at de ikke var elevator til rummet, som var placeret på 4. sal. Personalet var dog meget venlige og insisterede på at bære den store kuffert op til 4. Et helt igennem dejligt sted med fin kontinental-morgenmad med i prisen.

Отличное расположение, рядом есть платная парковка 17,5 в сутки, пешая доступность достпримечательностей. Жил на 4 этаже в трипле, номер большой, чистый, с балконом, отдельная душевая и туалет. Персонал молодой, готов всегда помочь. Лифта нет, но лестница удобная. Завтрак нормальный, голодными не останетесь.
