An excellent hotel in a not so good areaPosted Nov 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel cannot be faulted. Everything was excellent. The location wasn't great for getting to the Douro river etc plus the metro stations were a little far on foot. The Spa I would highly recommend. I found the drinks and snacks at the bar to be overpriced.

Lovely hotelPosted Oct 16, 2012
Pros: The room.
Cons: The high extra charges.
Location: A little out of town but easily accessible and with plenty of places to eat nearby.
Lovely hotel in quiet area. Reasonably close to the Metro. The room rate was very good but breakfast expensive at 22 Euros, as was the 10 Euro charge for the use of the pool and spa [although the spa is very nice].

Corporate hotel with modern twistPosted Oct 7, 2012
Pros: I will try other options next time when in vacation
Cons: Front desk service
Location: Good location
Good corporate hotel, staff unable to make any decisions in favor of clients, appear to only be able to follow procedures.

Amazing hotelPosted Sep 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
I recently spent a night here before travelling to Lisbon. The hotel was a little out of the way for a leisure trip but I would image it would be perfect for business. It was well worth putting up with the €5-10 cab ride though as the hotel was beautiful. The staff were all very attentive, helpful, professional and friendly. The room was a very good size and condition with extremely comfortable and great quality beds and bedding - and the glass bathroom was a fantastic, unexpected bonus. The breakfast was very good as was the spa. I loved it here, thought it was great value for money and would definitely recommend or visit again.

Too far from cityPosted Sep 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
Though a nice hotel as you would expect of a Sheraton, the main part of town is a 40 minute walk away

Role swap in orderPosted Sep 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
Counter staff are rude and unhelpful . Sending us on many fruitless wild goose chases around Porto. The doormen on the other hand were Awesome and we just started only dealing with them in the end . The door men need to be moved to the counter and the rude, useless counter staff need to be parking and loading the cars.

Great for business and leisurePosted Sep 10, 2012
The hotel was excellent. My only grumble is that internet access wasn't free (€5 for 2 hours, €10 for 4 hours, and €15 for 24 hours, which is steep). As free internet access is a perk that more large hotels are starting to offer, I would expect it from the Sheraton chain too. It's a 10 minute walk to the closest metro line, but there are always taxis outside the hotel, and bus stops on the main road.
very attractive hotelPosted Sep 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
the hotel presents itself well. it is updated, modern, sleek and sexy. our room was very clean and attractive. the only thing i did not like was the additional 10 euro charge for using the pool........i have never paid extra for this. the hotel is situated in a safe and upper end neighbourhood, although all major attractions are some distance away. we took the double decker bus (which has a stop 2 minutes away from the hotel) to see the city. highly reccommed the hotel.

It is very nice hotel. Just far from the city center. By taxi is about 10Min & 7€.
