I proposed to my girlfriend while staying at the Tiara Park Atlantic, it was one of the most phenomenal hotel stays I have experienced. They went out of their way to make the weekend the best that it could possibly be, and the facilitates were new and top-notch! The bus runs from right out front to the center of the town every 15 min and the subway is only a 20 min walk. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a room on the 15th floor. The room was great and the staff was very welcoming as well.

Elegant and very pleasant hotel. We had to sit in comfortable chairs in the lobby and relax. We stat atthe semi-final games at the World Cup. We have been notified by one of the waitresses in the lobby that we can watch the game at one of the halls where a large screen with dinner also served a special price. we went there and enjoyed both the food are from the large HD screen viewing and the atmosphere and the service Especially the waiter Miguel I think he was very kind and very effective.

“Wonderful Service, Great Price”

I spent 2 nights at Le Meridien in July 2005 and had a great stay. The staff spoke English and was incredibly helpful. The room was spacious, modern, and had deliciously comfortable beds. Although Le Meridien is situated away from the historic section of Porto, the main plaza is a short bus ride (15-20 minutes) from the bus stop right across the hotel; otherwise, a taxi ride to the Riviera and the port cellars costs about 5 euro.

“Tiara Park Atlantic - Porto”

Excellent hotel. Front desk staff all spoke fluent English, and were extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Restaurant food was great, very reasonably priced for dinner, with a 3-course menu of the day for 23 Euros. A liter bottle of water was an extra 4 Euros, a bit pricey. The breakfast buffer was quite good, but also a bit pricey at 20+ Euros. Great location within a few blocks of the Casa da Musica and the Boavista Roundabout. About a 20 Euro cab fare to the airport.
