This hotel exceeded our expectations with quality towels, room cleaning and a exceptional restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful since this was our first visit to the area. I would definitely stay there agin for any future visits.

A hidden gem
We were surprised to find this gem of a town during our trip in Italy. The Hotel is clean and very nice. In tune with the surroundings. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel overall very nice.

2 days in August
Perfect location close to 2 beaches (on each side) and to the restaurant street. The hotel looks renovated and has a sizeable territory with a garden, pool, several bars/restaurants and a wellness area (unfortunately closed now due to COVID, so check before you go). Nice imperial-style atmosphere and furnishing. In-house restaurant with attentive service, a bit overpriced as to what you can find in the town but an option if you just want to stay indoors for the evening. AC in the room is probably one of the quietest we've seen on the coast, which definitely helps during summer nights. Very nice pool area with saline water pool. Good breakfast.

Although it was hard to find initially, the hotel location is right in front of a lovely small beach with some water front cafes.

Very close to the beach and town. Our room was ok but a little dark with no view at all. Food was very good, good choice at breakfast and we had dinner there was which was especially good.

The hotel is well situated at the ‘end of the road’ and right next to the entrance to the fairytale beach. It’s an old style hotel- our room had high painted ceiling, leather topped desk, sofa and chairs. It was clean and very comfortable. I loved the ambiance- a traditional seaside hotel- a classy lady, maybe not in her prime but still stylish in all the right places. Beautiful outdoor pool, and breakfast area. Excellent choice of food for breakfast (coffee in silver pots), helpful staff. I felt relaxed and happy studying there.

Beautiful Traditional Hotel Superb Location
This hotel is superbly located and beautifully appointed. A traditional old school Italian Hotel with ornate furnishings and uniformed, professional staff. It won’t suit you if you want a slick, modern feel and hip staff to go with it. Breakfast selection was as we have come to expect in Italy...huge and delicious, the local focaccia is amazing. We also really appreciated the historic buildings and lush gardens of this sprawling property. We would love to return in the summer and definitely recommend Hotel Due Mari.

Full of Character and Charm
A charming hotel with a lot of character. very friendly and helpful staff. positioned just yards from the 'Silent Bay'. visiting in off season for a small break, the weather was wonderful and the beach is one of the few with free public access in the area. Plenty of local bars and resturants with great food. highly reccomended, and absolute gem.

little break to see sestri levante - couldnt be a better located hotel. Right in town and by beach. Hotel is on many levels and great to walk around. Quaint and thoroughly recommended

Great hotel if you don't mind being treated badly.
Staff was really rude and not helpful. Be prepared to receive additional charges for every little thing and only told at the end of your stay. Amazing building and beautiful rooms. Lovely spa and perfect location. Too bad they don't make you feel welcome.

Wow factor but rude management
Absolutely loved this hotel in a fabulous location in the beautiful town of Sestri Levante. The reception and welcome was excellent, but only criticism was the owners and senior management practically ignored the majority of guests, but fawned over a few regulars. Some of them were very rude and totally blanked us without even a buonjorno! However ignoring this the decor and setting of the hotel, the pool area and gardens were superb and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Charming and well located
With charming and helpful staff, this hotel is aimed at the older generations. Don't let the outside appearance put you off. Inside, the hotel is immaculately clean and well appointed with typical decor, fittings and furnishings for the Ligurean coastline. The outdoor pool is salt water and chuffing freezing but in a very pretty setting. If you want to base your vacation in Sestri Levante the location is as good as it gets, right on the beach of the Bay of Silence, yet a short stroll from the other beach and the town centre.

WONDERFUL!
this hotel was absolutely the best hotel ive stayed at since living in Italy. I have lived in Europe for 2 years and this one stood out to me. it is close to EVERYTHING, breakfast was included and oh-so-delicious, not a cheap cold bagel and cereal American breakfast. its pools and scenic views of the hotel itself are so, so worth it.

Very enjoyable stay!
I stayed at Hotel 2(Due) Mari for only one night but couldn't have been happier. Compared to a 4-star hotel I stayed afterwards for three nights, the single room I was given (#402) by 2 Mari was much bigger and more comfortable. The hotel is right by the famous Bay of Silence and within a few steps you are walking on the beach! The hotel's beutiful garden style decor makes you feel like you're at somebody's beautiful villa. The service was impeccable, and their breakfast was very bountiful and delicious. I highly recommend Hotel Due Mari and would definitely come back.

Great Location - shame about the aircon!
Lovely area, great beach, friendly and helpful service. Hotel a little shabby, but quite endearing. The aircon is the noisiest I have ever come across and not the most effective. We often opted for the ceiling fan , which was marginally less intrusive volume-wise and just as cooling. Hotel pool area nice, with "throw on the lounger when you're done" towels and a small toddler pool.Breakfast was good - taken in the bar area or garden. The lunch , served from the pool bar,in the adjacent patio garden, was quite nice, but there's so much choice on the doorstep, you can do better within 5 minutes stroll.Same for dinner. We would go back.

Good but pricey for a 3 star property
Would have been 5 stars had it not been for the fact that they turn off the a.c. in the middle of the night and don't turn it back on again until noon. In any event, the a.c struggles in the middle of summer. Breakfast is excellent and the location superb. Staff are very helpful. Wife is free but in the public areas only. it is a little hit and miss, but when it works, it is adequate .

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel per un weekend inizio ottobre. Ci siamo trovati benissimo sopra ogni aspettativa. In peno centro e per arrivare alla spiaggia del silenzio devi solo attraversare un vicolo, comodissimo. Hotel con un sacco di servizi a un raporto prezzo ottimo. Straconsigliato. Anche la cena al loro ristorante ottima.

Top-Lage inkl ruhiger Pool-Oase und viel Charme
Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, jedoch mit vielen schönen Details und history und blitzsauber! Obwohl an Toplage am Meer ist der Pool bei vollen Stränden eine kleine Ruhe-Oase, zumindest in der Nebensaison.
