Nice Well Located Hotel
The hotel is well located and close to everything in Lavagna and beaches. The train station is a short walk away. The staff is ultra attentive and very accommodating. The only downside, for those driving, is that the hotel has no parking and street parking is VERY limited.

Great position and quiet.
The hotel is in the centre of Lavagna, close to the train station, beach, bars, restaurants and the market. (You can walk to Chiavari and back quite easily.) It is set back from the road away from traffic with a seating area in a front garden. The staff are very friendly and there is a bar service. The buffet breakfast was adequate but mainly catered to sweet-toothed Italians. The bathroom shower in our room was difficult to use but the bedroom was comfortable. The centre of Lavagna is lovely and Cinque Terre can easily be reached by rail changing at Sestri Levante. The only downside is the beach is on the other side of the railway line but you soon get used to this.

Freightening!
When we arrived at Hotel Alba they were not expecting us and told us that they did not take bookings through Hotels.com, even though Hotels.com had given us a Hotels.com Confermation number and a Hotel Confirmation number. We were told that they only take bookings through Expedia.com. Needless to say this was a freightening experience, late in the evening when we arrived. Eventually we were able to work things out and we were able to stay at this disappointing location.

European Vacation
We traveled for 10 days in three European countries and stayed in 10 different locations. This hotel was the only one that didn't have front desk staff that spoke any English. The gentleman was very accommodating and did his best to understand us. The hotel advertised free parking but the space was so small and tight quarters that the hotel owner/manager had to move several other cars to fit ours in. He then offered to do the parking for us which was great but would have been extremely inconvenient if he had needed to use it again before we left. The area the hotel is located in is not a typical tourist area but its in a typical Italian neighborhood and was great to walk around in and experience. We found a really good restaurant near by and several small stores...no English but we managed. The room itself was just ok, had nice windows that opened and the wifi worked. The shower however was unexceptable in my mind....I had to squeeze to get in because the opening was so small. When I dropped something I had to get out and reach in and retrieve it....no room to bend over. I understand that the European showers are much smaller than the American one abut this one was a real challenge.the free breakfast was the worst one on our entire trip, consisted of of some bread/crackers, jelly and coffee. There was a restaurant on site but we didn't use it. Plus side was the pleasant gentleman at the front desk, down side language, breakfast and shower.

Dear Lord ...first of all, parking is free with a limit of parking ... and are not reserved for them alone to her. ... with regard to the hotel I'm seeing with my strength and little finance to make it as comfortable as possible.thing for you and is happening ...as for the shower are the classic 70 x 70 and we are providing to change it but if kiwifruit tree scroll in the garden do not fall € ...with regard to the typically Italian breakfast with croissants, focaccia genovese, jams, biscuits, rusks from typical Genoese lagaccio, yogurt ...etc..If you are in a country other than his own, think and try to eat at home then don't start either ... the eggs on a griddle with butter and bacon hamburger ...find it under home ...without making many miles ...I P.S.detto this hotel are not the master of the building ... I think I do too ... jump and goodbye

Immediatamente cordiali, dall'arrivo fino alla partenza. Sempre disponibili all'ascolto ed a risolvere i piccoli problemi dell'ultimo istante. Il ristorante, poi, è davvero una sorpresa. La CHEF è bravissima con una selezione di piatti invitanti e ben preparati. La signora in sala altrettanto, sempre con un sorriso e con cortesia. Ottima la colazione, dolce e salato.

L'établissement est bien situé tout près de la gare ferroviaire et de l'embarcadère des bateaux; c'est pratique pour la visite des Cinque Terre et les autres sites de la côte ligurienne; Portofino, Portovenere, Gênes; nous n'avons pas eu besoin d'utiliser notre voiture. Mais surtout, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse de tout le personnel de l'hôtel et son incroyable disponibilité pour satisfaire tous nos désirs. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous retournerons dans cet hôtel.

Un piccolo gioiello a due passi dal porticciolo!
Ho soggiornato all'hotel Alba solo una notte ma mi sarei fermato più che volentieri qualche giorno in più. Il personale è accogliente e disponibile. La camera e la colazione perfetta. da provare anche il ristorante con ampia scelta di piatti di qualità preparati al momento. Consigliatissimo. Tornerò ancora appena ne avrò la possibilità.

Ve lo consiglio.
Devo dire che di alberghi ne frequento almeno 3/4 a settimana è se potessi indicare una votazione corretta 5 stelle non basterebbero servirebbe almeno il doppio. Albergo comodissimo alla stazione 5 minuti a piedi, posteggio auto a pagamento raggiungibile con navetta dell’albergo. Ma il jolly è giocato tutto sul servizio del personale, ragazzi usciti da scuole alberghiere con la voglia di mettere in pratica ciò che hanno imparato. Questo servizio vi posso garantire che neanche nei 5stelle più blasonati mi è stato offerto.

Di questi tempi con le diverse regole, sono riusciti a mantenere i vari servizi come la colazione o la navetta per la stazione di Chiavari. Per questo tanto di capello Per la stanza era pulita , peccato non c’era un frigo ma una cantina per il vino che non siamo riusciti ad attaccare. Molto carino e piacevole il giardino dove si cena e si fa colazione.

Struttura suggestiva, ben tenuta e molto pulita...ma questo è abbastanza scontato al giorno d'oggi. Quello che più ci ha colpito è meno usuale: far sentire i tuoi clienti importanti e preziosi. La cura delle relazioni, l'attenzione alla piena soddisfazione, la gentilezza raffinata. Sono sempre le persone che fanno la differenza. Qui abbiamo trovato persone speciali!

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Colazione ottima preparata dalla simpaticissima chef (niente cornetti ma buonissime torte). Ambienti puliti e profumati. Unica pecca: il parcheggio distante (ci si arriva con la navetta) ma l’hotel è a due passi dalla stazione quindi se si va in treno è meglio.

Dormitorio estrecho, cuesta desplazarse, sin veladores, ni frigobar; tampoco cuenta con cortinas que permitan tapar La Luz exterior (solo una tela colgando de un tronco en la ventana). Demasiados empleados ociosos fiscalizando el desayuno.. en general muchos empleados y pocas atenciones y servicios. Música en la terraza del hotel desde muy temprano hasta altas horas de la noche. Muy elevado el valor para lo que ofrecen. Fuerte olor a alcantarilla en lugar de desayuno.

Situato in posizione centrale, tranquilla, vicino alla stazione ma lontano quanto basta per non sentire la ferrovia, cosa non scontata in Riviera Ligure. Camere curate, arredate con gusto ed eleganza. Colazione varia con prodotti di prim' ordine ed un ricordo dell albergo alla ns. partenza. Grande cortesia e disponibilità per tutto durante tutto il soggiorno. Torneremo senz altro anche per provare il ristorante che ci dicono ottimo.Un salto di qualità che sarebbe a ns. parere necessario anche ad altre strutture turistico alberghiere della zona

Hotel Alba: coccolati in un'oasi felice!
All'hotel Alba l'ospite è seguito con meticolosa cura per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Stanza accogliente, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario. Il personale è particolarmente gentile ed attento alla massima soddisfazione dell'ospite. Ottima cena, preparata quotidianamente dallo chef con prodotti freschi di giornata e servita con stile raffinato. Abbondante e golosa colazione con frutta, dolce e salato. Una specifica nota di merito alle ottime torte di loro produzione. Unico elemento migliorabile, per i clienti che scelgono la mezza pensione, è la mancanza del dolce nel menù standard (comunque ordinabile come extra). Si sa che la perfezione non esiste, ma all'hotel Alba manca veramente poco per raggiungerla!

Troppo personale assillante nel chiedere se tutto andava bene, tutto ciò per sopperire alle evidenti mancanze dell hotel . cena a dir poco penosa , la tanto osannata madame chef farebbe bene a fare una scuola che le insegni a cucinare, non è che siccome le porzioni dono da nouvrlle cuisine , ciò non vuol dire qualità. A MSI più hotel Alba!!!!

Situation idéale si on veut visiter les 5 terres en train (même s'il faut effectuer plusieurs changements...) et les petites villes chiavari et lavagna sont très sympa. Le personnel de l'hotel present en grand nombre à été vraiment très prévenant et serviable. La chef cuisinière a vraiment su combler nos papilles...

Per la seconda volta siamo tornati all'hotel Alba per un week end romantico , essendoci trovati bene la prima volta ci siamo ritornati , bell'hotel , tranquillo , in centro e vicinissimo alla spiaggia, camera ben arredata e confortevole , colazione sia dolce che salata ed abbondante, proprietari e staff gentilissimi e professionali, sicuramente ci ritorneremo , lo consigliamo...un saluto alli staff.
