Lido Palace Hotel

Strange design with 3 corridors serving 5 floors. Lots of stairs to the room door and also inside the suites. Not suitable for people with limited mobility or with young children. Hotel is across a busy road from the beach - not beachfront as suggested by pictures on web

Parking is a bit difficult with times for access , however the staff are very helpful , great location , I would book again Water taxi to Portofino 9euro return outside the hotel

You get out at the train station in the marvelous town of Santa Margherita Liguere and you walk down to the boardwalk on the seashore and then you notice that you will spend your time there in a hotel that couldn't be better located. It's right on the beach. The view from the room with the large windows is incredible. We walked from there to Portofino which was very nice, we ate there and then came back by bus. During the evening we visited the small town. We went back to the beach at different hours during the day and could always get new clean towels to sit in the sand.

excellent service, reception staff were so helpful and friendly. the room was very nice and comfortable with an excellent view.

We visited Santa Margherita for 4 nights in April. The hotel was very conveniently located within very easy walk into the center of the little town. The room was excellent we had a sea view. Breakfast was excellent. We rented a car and were able to park it in the hotel garage for a fee. On of the days we traveled boat and returned by bus from Portofino .. the bus stop was directly outside the hotel entrance.. We would all definitely recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is immaculate and kept in beautiful condition. The staff went out of their way to look after me. They are very warm and friendly.

Very nice hotel very clean and the staff were very accommodating and friendly the breakfast was good the hotel is situated in the center of Santa margarita facing the sea and in walking distance of everything the rooms are suites very large with separate bedroom although bathroom has everything and very clean they could do with an update but we really enjoyed ourselves

Get the view. It is unbelievable. S M is a great place to stay, and this hotel is beautiful, offering a brilliant view.

With the exception of the elevator noise whenever it was used, our stay was very pleasant. View from our room was the best even with the crummy weather. Staff was very helpful in giving us directions and even getting us an EARLY morning cab to the train station. We'd stay there again.

I thought the hotel staff was very friendly and offered up great tips and parking and places to eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
