Pros: Shuttle service to get into downtown Portsmouth and back.
Location: Portsmouth is a great little city with excellent dining and nightlife. Historical sites, plus several golf courses all nearby.
Clean room, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast.

Watch out for all the special charges.Posted Sep 15, 2014
Where do I start? Breakfast was an extra $10 per person so I skipped breakfast. $20 more than almost every other hotel chain. But when I checked out I couldn't even get a cup of coffee for free. Not to mention they charged my credit card $20 as a "hold" for possible incidentals. I checked out with a zero balance. But when I looked at my credit card charges for my trip I saw $20 for Lodging. It's supposed to be credited back the next day, but it hasn't hit my bank statement yet.

Horrible hotel. Terrible check in.Posted Sep 7, 2014
Was there for a wedding with 50 other guests. The blonde working the front desk had an attitude throughout all 3 days. Terrible service. No hospitality. Never Again.

Perfect for overnight stopoverPosted Sep 5, 2014
Requested a rollaway the day before we got there and it was in the room when we arrived! Plus, realizing the addition of the bed meant another person, they added more towels without asking. I know this sounds minor, but really--how many hotels have you waiting for the bed to arrive and make you call again when you realize you need additonal towels.

Nice Hotel close to Highway and Portsmouth NHPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent and the waiter was very personable. Also the exercise room was very clean and modern. The room was clean and large.
Cons: I would have liked queen sized beds.
Location: The hotel was close to the Portsmouth historic district and shopping.
This is a nice hotel that is convenient to Kittery, Maine and other southern Maine destinations. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are regular travelers to this area and I would not hesitate to stay at the Courtyard again.

Very nice room and dining areaPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Pillows (for me) were too thick and firm. They should offer two pillow options.
The hotel staffer when we checked in was a little cold and distracted. However, all the other staff members, cleaning lady, dining staff were all very helpful and polite. Overall experience was very nice.

Cons: More workout equipment in the gym: couple more benches, more free weights, heavier weights.
Good experience, nice rooms, polite and attentive staff, highway a bit close, highway noise in highway-side rooms may bother some, or not, request a room not facing highway.
