Came for a group getaway to Portsmouth. The hotel was clean and a quick 8 minute Uber to downtown. The coffee was always fresh and the cookies were delicious!

The front desk person when I checked in on Monday, March 4, 2024 was absolutely superb. She had a lot going on between technical issues with her login as well as customers. She handled it all with superior Grace and was a pleasure. She should definitely be given some kind of recognition!

Very nice, affordable hotel. Staff was accommodating and the area inside the hotel was clean. We loved that it was a pet friendly hotel and their pet Code of Conduct was very reasonable. However, that's where my one issue was with the hotel stems from. One of the conditions is that pet owners (understandably) pick up their pet's droppings. When walking my dog outside, I notice many mounds of doggie donuts not picked up. And these weren't tiny-sized pooplets, these were pretty good-sized piles, easily seen from 12 feet away. I know it's on the pet owner to "police your brass," but the hotel should have custodial staff go out and collect the excess fertilizer on the grounds surrounding the building. Again, not a big deal but it would be a much bigger deal if a guest stepped in one of the landmines left by Spot and Lassie. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend staying here.

Area around the property has some homelessness. Property was clean looking upon arriving in the lobby. Front desk agent was average. There was a lack of towels in the pool area in the middle of the afternoon. The room was a decent size. The room its self was found to be fairly clean. The bathroom had lots of hair in tub. We went in the breakfast area in the morning. The food offerings were decent, but the breakfast area and lobby where so hot that is was making us sick. I feel the property could work on improving cleanliness.

The staff was amazing. Room and entire hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was delicious. All stores next to hotel were closed. No restaurants close by. Walked about 8 min to Job Lot and trash, nips were all over the area. It was dirty but not the hotels property.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it was pleasant. However this most recent stay was less than stellar. The room had chipped furniture and the bed was so creaky and broken and there was a cigarette burn through the sheets. We brought our dog and last time we were not charged a pet fee and the woman at the front desk explained we should have had it so I signed. The inconsistency is unfair. Also- the woman at the front desk was rather “threatening” with us having a dog. That “we better not see you without him” and statements like that. Not very welcoming to say the least.

This property sits about 7 min from downtown Portsmouth, self parking is free and plenty of parking. Nice snack/ wine available at their little store area. Friendly staff and free breakfast was well prepared.

The customer service was excellent. The happy hour snacks were a lovely treat after a long drive. The only thing I didn't like was the height if the bed. I am 5'3", and I was very sore after a five hour drive; climbing onto the bed was very difficult and painful. Otherwise, it was a very lovely stay.

Great for a holiday stay when visiting family
Great experience over the holiday stay. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful even though they were working on the holiday rather than spending time with family. Everything was spotless. Girls trip
Girls weekend for Christmas festivities in the Portsmouth area. Check in was quick and easy. All employees were friendly. Location is a short distance from downtown Portsmouth but very close to local shopping, Home Goods, TJ Maxx etc. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Closet door was broken and didn’t stay closed. Room was adjacent to home depot so could hear the beeping from the fork trucks most the day and early in the morning. Could also hear the highway noise. Pool and hot tub was nice. Lobby was festively decorated for Christmas.

Weekend Getaway
The front desk was very kind and helpful. The room and pool are was clean. Limited visible signs of age on the building or the furniture. The vents were clean (my biggest pet peeve) and the carpets well maintained. The pool was in working order and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Lots of different options. We stayed one night and it was very comfortable. If we need to travel through the area again, we'll stay here again.

Overall, this was a nice hotel, but we booked it with a pet indicated in the reservation. We noticed an extra charge of $75 for the pet, which seemed excessive and they didn't actually tell us this at the front desk--we only noticed it on our credit card statement. It was poor communication.
