Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel

EVERY person working for the hotel treated us well. We have never stayed at a hotel and found every staff person pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The room was beautiful, clean & comfortable. The view was great. Our breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and the room service food was hot when it arrived and delicious. We will be returning to this hotel whenever we visit Portsmouth. Another plus, this hotel is within walking distance to virtually everything you'd want to do in Portsmouth.

very nice hotel. club floor was so good. must be a starwood member, but it is worth it for the breakfast, etc. the woman who runs the breakfast room is awesome. very friendly and knowledgable.

We stayed in room 240. Although the room was clean and nicely decorated it was probably one of the noisiest rooms I have EVER stayed in. We are not sure but there was always banging going on and we wondered if the kitchen was under us. We were right by the double doors leading to the balcony and lounge on the 2nd floor where there was hardwood so we heard noises all night. My husband did not sleep hardly at all with all the noises going on at all times of the night. What was worse was Saturday night when there were wedding receptions and maybe prom getting over with around midnight til about 1am and very loud obnoxious guest being very loud down our hallway. The walls are paper thin.

This hotel is under renovation. I stayed on the club floor and feel that the room was definitely a little over priced considering that it needs some updating. The fan of the air/heat unit was rattling which was pretty annoying. The windows were screwed shut which was unfortunate because it would have been great to have been able to open them and breathe in fresh air. The hotel is in a great location, though, and overall I found it acceptable.

We arrived after 7.5 hours of strainght driving, myself and a 11 and 13 yr old. As I checked in I said" these are the best kids ever they just drove 7 and a half hours straight" instantly the attendant asked if she could send up two hot fudge sundaes and a glass of wine on the house. They rest of our stay we were just as well taken care of.

Good hotel..they let us check in early. When I signed up it said breakfast included... But the Hotel staff told me it wasn't..

We stay here every few months. Always great friendly service. This is the most pet-friendly place we know. Meghan at the front desk is a big dog fan and provided us with biscuits in a package with Honey's name written on them, as well as a Sheraton device that holds plastic bags for cleanup.
