94 rooms, studios and suites with comfortable furnishing and cosy beds expect the guest. All rooms have a minimum size of 30sqm and are equipped with modern bathrooms. The barrier-free hotel has 19 handicapped accessible rooms (DIN standard) and altogether 35 rooms are completely barrier-free furnished and particularly to the needs mobility reduced by humans with adapted. Each room has telephone, fax and Internet connection, cable TV and a mini bar. A part of the rooms has a balcony. The studios and suites are additionally equipped with a lounge area. “Nice hotel, rude reception workers”

We checked in later in the day and the lady working at the reception desk was exceptionally nice and helpful. We traveled with out dog, which was not a problem at all. We did incur a 10 Euro pet fee per day. The lady gave us a room key along with a card that allowed us to use all public transportation for free which was great. Shopping is right around the corner as well as two nice restaurants (one local cuisine the other Mexican food, happy hour is from 6 to midnight and all cocktails are 3,90 Euro). The room was superior, quiet, the bathroom was roomy and clean. The breakfast was pricy (13 Euro per person), but good. We reached Berlin without a problem and enjoyed our stay very much until it was time to check out. We were charged for breakfast twice, but only had breakfast once. We asked for them to remove the charge and the lady said she was unable to do so because she can't proof that we didn't actually eat breakfast. We explained that we didn't eat it and that she should remove it then she said that she couldn't remove it because she didn't have the password. After arguing for 30 minutes my husband asked for her manager. She let us wait another 15 minutes and was then able to remove the charge. However, she said that next time she would not remove the charge because it was our fault it was on the bill in the first place... he? Needless to say that we won't be back at this hotel despite the fact that it is nice and convenient!

Area recommendations

Potsdam - Sans Souci (tram 92 or 96 every 10 mins right across the street from hotel) Stern Center shopping mall -- 3 minutes by car Use the public transportation card the hotel gives you!! It's well worth it.
