Good and Bad

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Location, pool, food
Cons: friendliness of staff, better bedsheets that stay on the bed, enforcing quiet hours in the hall
Location: on Lake Texoma--boating etc.
We went for a Labor Day weekend and the pool is great and the tower is fun to hang out in. We loved the entertainment/singer (Vic I believe his name was) up in the tower. We got to dance and and enjoy his singing and guitar. The food was really good except the breakfast buffet was not great. The service was hit or miss. Debbie in the main dinning room in the mornings was so great! Made you feel at home and was very attentive. When we went at night, we were completely ignored and had to ask many times for service. The restaurant off the pool was great--good food and good service. The front desk was a little stiff and unhelpful. We did not sleep all that well as the bed sheets easily come off the mattress and we were unfortunate to have loud people in the hallway both nights we were there. We also enjoyed the restaurant at the marina next door. Overall was good, but service (with the exception of a few) needs to be improved.

Great weekend get away close to Dallas!

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Easy and casual environment
I have been going to this resort for years and always have a fun time. The master villa is a great room choice for a family. Two pools, hot tub and kiddie pool are fun for all ages as well as evening entertainment for the adults with live music in the tower overlooking lake Texoma. A fun easy get away for the night or weekend!

Resort a little behind the times

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Close to my home, clean environment and lots of things for kids to do during the day but lacking entertaining at night for teens.
Cons: Update resort, and have something for teens to do on weekends at night. Would be nice if it had a beach area.
Location: Close to marina
I like the resort but needs to be updated. Rooms were clean, pools closed too early I thought for a resort, not much for minors to do after 10:00.

Will not go back

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: breakfast was good even though it was pricey. The pools were also nice.
Cons: most everything
Location: Nothing during the week
No refrigerator or microwave in room. The completely booked spa is three miles down the road. Only one hotel restaurant open during the week....not three. No shoreline fishing allowed. When we checked out they didn't even say thank you or how was your stay or even go to hell

Bad resort stay

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Bar was ok
Cons: Service
Location: Road to resort was not very good a lot of pot holes
I was not given a lake side room like it said on my itinrerary and the view I had was of a dead potted plant and the cable was not working and curtain was off the rod. I complained at front desk was told I was wrong on my room and the cable would be repaired and housekeeping would be up to fix problem 4 hrs later I returned with my Expedia Itinerary proved I did have a lake view room and the one they put me in was a little better but was of propane tanks. I was not happy with this resort.

Close to Lake Texoma

Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Close to marina, food was good.
Cons: The price was a bit high for the quality of the room.
Location: Marina is very close by.
We stayed one night in a room with two beds. The room was okay. The hotel has nice places to eat. The breakfast buffet was nice and was what we considered to be reasonably priced. It's conveniently located to High Point Marina on Lake Texoma.

great vacation venue

superb venue, only critism was refreshment / dining facilities could be improved. it took 40 minutes to buy a coffee following meal in pizza bar, apparently it is not brewed on site and no breakfast available on our visit .
