Great brand new refurbish hotel. Clean new everything. Good breakfast but my wife was looking for some fresh fruit. Maybe because it was right after Xmas Will stay here again!

Nice hotel that is close to the expressway.

Pros: Great breakfast. Clean room.
Cons: Front desk staff needs to smile more often.
Location: Close to Knoxville where I had business meetings to attend. Pretty countryside.
Good travel from hotel to Knoxville. Hotel was in a good location.

Customer Service down a bit

Everything was quite nice but I felt customer service was lacking when I checked in to the hotel. I have stayed here several times but this visit found the clerk unwilling to accommodate a request which has previously been carried out. I was disappointed but too tired to push the issue. Everything else went very smooth.

The only complaint we had was with the bed. The mattress had given out on the right side and caused a slope. Other than that, the rest of the hotel was fine. The shower worked properly, the bathroom was clean, the room was clean, plenty of stations on the TV and the breakfast was well stocked. Were I to travel through this area again, I would stay at the Holiday Inn again and would recommend it.

OK but just OK

Upon Check-In, I was informed that my room was a handicap room and if needed, I may be asked to move to accommodate handicapped persons. What? Why not just put me in a non-handicap room to start with? Except for the young, blonde escort that asked if I was her 'date' it was an OK hotel.
