business stayPosted Dec 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was their with my partner as i had to attend a business meeting in Llandrindod Wells. We travelled from the north east of England. We found the hotel to be very welcoming, the staff were exceptional as was the food and our room was spotless, warm and had a very cosy feel. The hotel is situated in beautiful grounds and if I am ever in wales I would stay at this hotel without a doubt.

A Welsh TreasurePosted Dec 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Situated in beautiful surroundings this hotel impressed from the start.I felt very relaxed, despite having had a long drive I was made to feel like I was the only guest. Local food and drink, expertly cooked and served in beautiful surroundings. Well appointed rooms, this hotel is a real Welsh Treasure.

Walks, views and very comfy bedsPosted Sep 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
We wanted somewhere to stay at short notice near Hay-on-Wye. We had a lovely evening at the Caer Beris - even if there was a bit of a problem at breakfast due to a power cut! Service was good and the meal in the restaurant was beautifully prepared and tasty. Very comfortable room, good shower, pleasant staff and great woodland walks and views.

Quiet country retreat close to BuilthPosted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: Warm welcome - amazing food - comfy bed (free upgrade to four poster!) - stunning grounds by the river - excellent value
Cons: Music in restaurant was tinny, poorly chosen and a distraction to the excellent cuisine on offer - but this is a minor point
Location: The hotel is set in its own 27 acres - so very nice walks there Plenty to do - hill walking - Builth Wells and Llandrindod very close as well
Warm welcome - amazing food - comfy bed (free upgrade to four poster!) - stunning grounds by the river - excellent value

I was given a warm welcoming, Also helped with my lugguage to my room. Facilities were mentioned and i felt relaxed. Room was excellent and spacious. Restaurant was good and relaxing. Great history and was given information which i really enjoyed reading about. Good location for natural reserves, nice walks, peaceful location. I also used wifi and service by the staff was of high standards. Definatly recommend others to stay in this nice location.
