We were very satisfied with the Hotel Stare Miasto Old Town. The location was convenient to Stary Rynek with a walk of about 5-7 minutes. Parking was available outdoors on site. Our room was quite spacious with a sitting room and bedroom- both clean and nicely decorated. The bathe was roomy clean and modern with nice tile and a roomy shower. Overall, we were very satisfied with the Hotel Stary Miasto and would book again!

A nice stay in Poznan
This is a nice hotel in a great location. Nice room and friendly staff. Fresh coffee and cookies available anytime. Breakfast was also very good. Free onsite parking. I recommend this hotel.

Wonderful location and staff
We arrived and had planned to stay one night only, but loved the hotel and the town so much that we added an extra night within 3 hours of arriving. Everything is perfect. The service is fantastic. The room is very comfortable and the parking a breeze. Great location for exploring the town on foot or by tram. Breakfast is eye candy. Colorful and good coffee and tea all day long along with cookies aka biscuits.

Very helpful staff. Close to market square for dining, drinks and sightseeing. Also close to a large shopping mall built in an old brewery complex. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly Hotel - 3min walk from downtown
A friendly hotel with nice staff. Clean, nice rooms with comfortable beds. Free tea and coffee in their patio. The hotel is situated just 3-4mins from the downtown area of Poznań, making it easy to walk for food, drinks and sightseeing.

Pretty darn good for the money
The hotel is reasonably nice, clean, maintained and comfortable. Not outstanding in any way except the staff were very good, friendly and seemed happy to accommodate. I'd say it's a decent place to sleep but would not want to hang out there. The breakfast courtyard is quite nice and the breakfast spread looked decent though I didn't try it so cannot attest to the food itself. The location is what I personally wanted but it is not in the nicest part of Stare Miasto. The street itself is a little seedy. I happened to stay during one of the worst heat waves in Europe and can happily say the air conditioning was excellent in both my room and the public areas. Nice and quiet and held the temperature steady, not one of those cheap under-window units that wakes you up at night and vacillates between too hot and too cold.

No all rooms have a/c. The fourth floor had small rooms no a/c and dirty curtains. Parking is free for only the first 8 cars. Breakfast was great. Nice lounge area to spend the evening in. Wonderful fresh flowers throughout the lobby and lounge.

Deserves a higher star rating
Place made me wonder how they could be only three stars honestly. Good breakfast, very polite, warm and helpful staff, nice clean rooms. A prolonged heatwave and our room being on the sunny side made it stifingly hot though, and no AC. Then again, they don't control the weather. Parking was a bit complicated, but the staff helping you get your car in and out of the small, packed space.

Very nice hotel.
Very nice hotel, close to old Town which is beautiful. The hotel staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A nice touch was being able to get tea or coffee at any time, all included in price. Breakfast - excellent. The only problem was that the weather was extremely hot so the bedrooms were hot which made sleeping difficult. Otherwise room was lovely.

Good old fashioned hotel in the heart of Poznan
Just a one night stay in this fine old Polish city.This hotel is tucked away on a side street just a short walk from the Rynek(Main Square) and offers access to most of Poznan's attractions

Overall the hotel was excellent. Great location. Short walk to Stare Miasto. Rooms were clean and the staff pleasant. Had a hard time making an outside call. Each time we called the front desk asking how we could get an outside line, we were given a different answer. Getting a call in was difficult also. We could not connect with our family member while inside the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. Construction on the front of the street made it difficult to find, get in and get out. However once there, they were so helpful and and everything was very nice. Hopefully the construction will be over soon.

Short break in Poznan
My wife and I booked the hotel to enjoy a 2 night break and selected the Hotel Stare Miasto close to the centre of Poznan. It is located in the old part of the town and the immediate surroundings and streets are somewhat rundown and yet to be renovated but don't let that put you off. The hotel itself is clean, quiet and offers a very comfortable stay, and is only a 5-10min walk from the main square ("Stare Rynek") in the centre of the old town (Stare Miasto) . Only a breakfast buffet is offered but good value and well worth taking up. Guests can have a tea or coffee in the dining room at any time with the staff only too willing to make any type of tea or coffee requested. We took advantage of this several times during our stay and saw nobody else so had an undisturbed refreshment. The rooms are good too.

Great service and location, free parking
This was my second stay in this hotel and both times it was excellent. Close to Old Town Square, but far enough that you don't have all the traffic and noise, sometimes late at night. This location is quiet, and offers limited free parking, a rarity in the area, where parking space is very limited. You may need to play "musical cars" when you get blocked (or you block someone else), but everyone cooperates, knowing how difficult is to find parking over there. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast at reasonable cost, in a nice setting. Room very clean and comfortable.
