Good foodPosted May 20, 2014
We ate dinner in the restaurant . Good food and cheap. Hotel was a close walk to the old town and an excellent playground within 200m.
Very good hotel but too much noise from outside!Posted Jul 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was my second time staying in this hotel. Everything about the hotel is great. But the construction noises from the nearby buildings was really annoying, it didn't seem to stop for even a minute.

Not far from the main squarePosted May 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is currently undergoing a refurb on the ground 1st and 2nd floor so you have to go through a temporary entrance / reception at the minute. I'm not knocking them for this as I think it's good that they are maintaing the hotel but thought I should point it out. On arrival at reception we were greeted with a friendly polish girl who spoke very good English and put the lads in rooms next to each other. She pointed out all the main places and gave us a map which came in very handy. The room was very clean but had no air con and was very warm that weekend. Shower was really nice and the towels were changed every day. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant. Good selection of food but not much english style food and food which should be chilled wasn't so was Luke warm e.g milk yoghurt fruit juices. This may only be like this because of the refurb. The main square was a good 10 minute walk but because the weather was so nice it was a nice walk. If you wanted a taxi it will cost you around 20 zolete which is about £4 (taxi to airport was around £10). We also got a taxi to a lake which is a really nice walk. That costs around £10 in taxi but lake is beautiful I think it's a 2 mile walk around it. The square had loads of bars / restraunts but not many night clubs. The bars are open until about 1-2 and the few clubs are 6am. Price of local beer ranged from 6 zolete to 12. This is around £1.30 to £3. Food was about £5 for a main course

gave me a clean and tidy place to sleep, wash, and have breakfast at a reasonable price, that is all I require
