Nicely decorated place annex to main HotelPosted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Decor and the area were it was situated
Cons: The main big door downstairs did not seem to lock when we returned in the evening but I suppose staff were in charge of after a certain time.
Location: Best location and lots of places of interest to visit. The architecture is amazing and lots of concerts about.
Although it was rather strange to be greeted in a small bar/dining room, the place felt rather unusually different from other hotels we had been to. Staff were very welcoming and after a complimentary drink we were led to our quarters through another entrance (outside the hotel). Downstairs was a well decorated lounge with chandeliers and 18th century decor. Very impressive and our bedroom was as welcoming with high standard furniture etc... The next day was my birthday and to our surprise a complimentary bottle of champagne was brought into our room. Hotel was situated in a very central area of Prague and the famous Charles Bridge was only a 10 minute walk from it. We managed to walk every day to the old city and also other places of interest because we were in the right area to reach most of the best places.

Quirky Fun Hotel Located Across River from Old CitPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: It's fun and well located. You won't stay in many hotels that have this whimsical flair.
Cons: Fitness facilities are up the hill a few blocks away in a sister hotel.
Location: It's near the bottom of castle hill, and just near the Charles Bridge to the old city centre. It's quiet and has a nice garden of its own.
Staff lovely, over the top decor that is totally fun.

Located below the castle and between two bridges which allowed easy access to all parts. The staff were always attentive and helpful. Good breakfast.

A charming boutique hotel in a quiet locationPosted Sep 21, 2014
Staffs were friendly, professional and helpful. Located in Prague's quieter 'Lesser Quarter', walkable distance to all the major tourist attractions. Hotel is charming and well maintained but the room we stayed at was somewhat basic and the bed was very small. Great breakfast spread.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the perfect location iPosted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Everything---but mostly the feeling of being welcomed like an old friend----nothing is too much trouble.
Location: In Mala Stana---the old part of Prague----on the Castle side of the river----within a short walk to the Charles Bridge.
This was my second stay at the Alchymist Nosticova Palace in Prague and is was just as excellent as the first!!! The staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The breakfast selection is superb, the rooms comfortable and well equipped and it is in the perfect location close to the Charles Bridge to explore the city. The addition of a secret garden and 3 beautiful new rooms in a newly aquired building is wonderful. This is my favorite hotel in Prague and I will definitely return!!!

Charming hotel with ambience of a palacePosted Jul 29, 2014
After an initial confusion of which building you enter, (banners are at opposite building which is part of the hotel but not where you check-in), we were warmly greeted by Karl and Andrea with a glass of champagne. Breakfast was as nice maybe even nicer than 4 Seasons with even homemade yogurt and butter. In fact I would rather stay here than at the 4 seasons. It is located within close walking distance to Charles Bridge ,etc. Our junior suite was lavishly decorated with antiques and art . Bathroom was all marble. Wine and cheese in the garden was also nice. you are five minutes away from their sister hotel the Grand which has upscale spa and restaurant which you are able to access. A perfect choice for this magical city.

It was wonderful--the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful, they were a delight from the time we arrived with sparkling wine given as we checked in to attending to our every request. It was an amazing place to stay.
