    The floors of Andel's Hotel Prague fitness center are set with backlit Plexiglass, and its walls are lined with mirrors.     “Andels - Poor Customer Service”

    Andels rooms are nice, but not the bargain you expect. First, there are the extra fees for internet and very pricey parking. They even tried to charge me for calling the front desk about a problem in the room. The customer service left a lot to be desired. We had to unplug the phone to get some sleep because it beeped every 10 minutes. We mentioned it several times to the front desk and it was never fixed. Same with the internet which didn't work the first night. DON"T EXCHANGE MONEY HERE. It said no commission so we assumed it was a good deal. Wrong. The rooms were clean but I wouldn't stay here again.

    “Sleep with the angels”

    Still pretty much the best hotel in Prague at its price point. Comfortable beds, always clean, and a good location near a major transit hub and plenty of shops and restaurants. Convenient to everything else within a few tram or metro stops, no sense paying more for an inferior hotel to be closer. They could add wireless internet in the rooms, though.

    “Can't say enough about this hotel”

    very nice and friendly staff as you enter the hotel . very clean and beautiful room with a modern design, comfortable . breakfast is the best part , they have a big resturant with free breakfast buffet; you should just see the modern art work and the variety of food . This hotel is a Must in Prague ... I will difinitly go back :)

    “The best hotel in Prague”

    Andel's is without a doubt a very understated hotel. The hotel was excellent from the minute we arrived until we left six days later. The hotel staff went out of their way to help with any questions we had and always added things for us to do. It is a very modern hotel for european standards and that is why we loved it. Breakfast was the most wonderful buffet with fresh breads, fruits, meats, cereals, yogurt and the most wonderful coffee you can imagine. There was food for everyone know matter where you came from in the world. It is in Praha 5 which is not in the middle of everything, but the local subway and trams are right on there corner. It is also right near a great shopping mall with a large food store. It also has limo service available if you need it. They have two computers in the lobby which is free to use. It is mostly a hotel that has conferences and has a lovely lobby bar/coffee shop where you can also have lunch or dinner if you are tired from touring all day. We highly recommend Andel's and hope to go back to Prague someday and definitely will stay there.

    Area recommendations
    We recommend reading one of the authors who writes about Prague and just to follow there guides. We used Frommer's as well as the internet suggestions. The Charles Bridge area, The Castle, the downtown. The Black light theatre were all great. We went to museums wonderful sights to be seen there as well as culture. The Jewish Cemetery and the 6 synogues were great.
    What to pack
    Don't pack too much. Prague is very casual. If going in the fall take a warm jacket. The only thing that surprised us was the cool weather for the end of September/October.
    Must see
    The Castle, The Black Light Theatre, A puppet show. All touted sights are a must. Walk along the river. Try lots of good resturants.

    “Great hotel in Prague”

    This is the original design hotel in Prague. While it may no longer be the only one, Andel's still keeps up, with excellent service and a great location. There are two movie theaters, one in a mall, within half a block. Trams to nearly everywhere are there too. One more block away is the Andel station. The location may seem a bit out of the way at first, but really it's just a few stops away from all that most people will want out of Prague.

    “Hotel Andel, Prague”

    Overall the hotel was excellent, and for the price we paid we were beyond satsified with it. The location is right next to Metro B and easily reached via Trams. It was a bit difficult to find at first since their sign is only visible from one perspective. The neighborhood is nice. The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows were more than inviting and we both slept very well. The only complaint was that the toilet door was clear glass. The bathroom door was frosted glass, and the heated bathroom floor was great. The bathub and shower were incredible; but again the clear toilet door made the bathroom awkward. The TV had a DVD player and speakers through out the room. The breakfast was incredible and had everything you could possibly want and more. Some of the best hotel coffee we have ever had. The staffing was quick, efficient, polite and attractive. The restaurant downstairs was equally delicious. The workout/salon area was worth the extra fee. Our only real complaints were that there is no wireless in the room (though it is free in the lobby) and to get access in your room required and extra fee; and the transportation to the airport we requested was lost. Thankfully the night staff is very efficient and got us a cab to the airport right away.

    Area recommendations
    Prague is much smaller than most people think. It is easily explored in a few days; but definitely worth the visit. Our favorite areas were Old Town and Vysehrad. But if you get the chance, rent a car and head to Karlstjen which is another castle. Walk up to the castle, avoid taxis and buses. Eat at the restaurants down stairs below the city street. The best food, staff and prices are found the lower you go.

    Area recommendations
    There is so much to see in Prague you need at least a week to see the major sights. The main square, the castle district, the Jewish District, Charles bridge, concerts, operas and performances everywhere. Just a great place.
    Dining
    For a great romatic dining experience try David's Restaurant across the street from the US Embassy and up a little back street. Excellent food and service.

    “Great! Hotel in Praha”

    We stay 5 days in Praha. Andel was the first hotel in Praha. We satisfy everything in this hotel, except fittness club. They charged not small amount everytime. That was strange. Anyway everything was excellent. I will go to back this hotel.

    “Best breakfast, sleek design”
