perfect locationPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Location - just off Charles Bridge but quiet enough to feel that you can get away from the crowds
Cons: Few more coffee sachets & tea bags in the rooms - but we easily got some at reception so not really a problem.
Location: Close to all the main sites. I would recommend taking a walking tour of the city
We didn't spend a great deal of time at the hotel but overall the atmosphere was relaxed. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean & comfortable. The bathroom was spotless & the shower powerful. The staff were friendly & helpful when we needed it. The location makes this the perfect base to explore the city but is quiet enough to relax in when you want to. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect hotel in a perfect locationPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The ambience, you immediately felt comfortable and the standard is second to none. Great staff extremely welcoming and helpful.
Location: Excellent central location for sightseeing. Near Prague castle district, Petrin hill, Charles Bridge, the old town, the River etc........
From the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left we could not ask for better service. The warm welcome we received at the reception and the unobtrusive service of the housekeeping staff was excellent. The family suite we were allocated for three adults was so spacious, fabulously clean, the air conditioning was quiet and extremely effective in the 30 degree heat.. There was a good selection of fresh food offered at breakfast and it was replenished frequently. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I would certainly stay there again and wouldn't hesitate recommending this to my friends. It's central location is an added bonus.

great locationPosted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: professional and friendly
Cons: fresh milk in mini bar, hate UHT and do like a good cuppa. many hotels guilty of this.
Location: right beside Charles bridge, walking distance of castle and old town.
Lovely hotel with everything you need with friendly staff. Very professional and super clean. Location is perfect, many attractions within walking distance. Despite being at the heart of everything the rooms are quiet and the area feels safe. Would definitely stay there again. We booked the triple room for 3 friends and it was perfect. Bed was made up rather than sofa and bedding on top. Great base to see beautiful city.

Very well located hotel, ideal for tourists,Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Everything, the air Conditioning, the position of the hotel on Kampa. The friendly polite staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the garden courtyard
Cons: I felt it was missing a lounge area where one could sit with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. I appreciate that there is very little space
Location: The wonderful Kampa Park, Charles Bridge and all that it offers tourists. The river boat trips, restaurants and lots of small shops near by. the Castl
The hotel staff were very polite and friendly and spoke English. The room up keep was very good with fresh towels and bathroom products renewed when used daily. The restaurant served a wonderful choice of dished for breakfast to suit all nationalities, the food was scrumptious and very very fresh. I had dinner on my own one evening choosing Chicken Breasts ( juicy and full of chicken flavour) with fresh vegetables. The restaurant staff did every thing possible to make me feel comfortable. The situation of the hotel is very well located I had a room overlooking the Vltava River with Kampa park being just a minutes walk away where one can sit and enjoy watching the River Boats.

Perfect locationPosted Jun 13, 2014
This hotel and staff is one of the best I've ever experienced . I only have 2 minor issues. The hotel did not have an iron or ironing board for guest use. My other minor issue was the pillows were not comfortable at all. Of course this is a personal preference . But in all I would highly recommend this place. One of the very best !!!! Exceptional staff !!!

Pros: Location is top of the list, but we liked a lot about the building too - good size rooms, well-appointed without being fussy and very clean.
Cons: A bigger space to put things down in the bathroom (washbag) and hang clothes while showering would be nice. And providing wash-cloths as well perhaps?
Location: Lovely quiet , cobbled square on the river right next to the Charles Bridge and also some lovely green spaces on Kampa island. idyllic!
Cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Archibald Charles Bridge, and the location is wonderful, right beside the Charles Bridge, yet so quiet at night, we hardly believed we were in the heart of the city. The rooms were very well supplied and the wifi was excellent.

Great location, friendly welcomePosted May 19, 2014
Pros: lovely location, great rooms
Cons: a little more luxury?
Location: everything's walkable from here and you can get away from the crowds too
Just a few steps from the Charles Bridge yet as peaceful as you could wish for in any city, this little gem makes the perfect base for exploring Prague. The rooms are large, light and scrupulously clean and the buffet breakfasts delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly and you can even hire iPads for free (wifi included too).

Central, friendly, perfect for sightseeing on footPosted May 8, 2014
Pros: All facilities in a building with character and history.
Cons: The hotel in process of creating more rooms and secluded garden area which will be lovely when finished. Current work not interfering with our visit.
Location: Central and can see all of Pragues sights on foot.
Friendly staff and lovely spacious room and bathroom overlooking river. Very reasonable rates for such an excellent location - at end of Charles Bridge - as we walked everywhere and lovely to have to walk over Charles Bridge so many times. My camera was exhausted. Breakfasts were very good and eaten in very old vaulted part of building. We ate in hotel one evening (discount for residents) and delicious and reasonable food. Lots of other restaurants and bars nearby and at the heart of tourist shops etc on way to Prague Castle.
