This is the 3rd time at the hotel in 6 months. It doesn’t disappoint. Martin the barman is great and it’s nice he remembers us. The hotel is in a great position and the transport links to the main attractions are cheap and plentiful. I used the gym and sauna this trip. The gym is well equipped and free to use as part of the stay. I paid extra for the sauna, this was very relaxing and worth the payment. My only issue was that the pillows weren’t as comfy as normal, but we managed for the length of our stay. It didn’t warrant saying anything at the time. All the staff are pleasant and the hotel is extremely clean. We will be back again soon.

Positives: The hotel is has a nice design, clean room, the staff is professional and helpful. Also it is close to a supermarket. Negative: The gym is nice but limited in the number of equipment's available. My recommendation is to add and extra bench and treadmill to the gym for residents convenience. So overall a great hotel choice, and a well-done to the staff and management.

The room is exactly as you see in the picture. Clean and spacious and breakfast was good with lots of choices. I went in a busy period so had to queue for tables to be free. But overall, it's a nice place and great location. I walked to the old town everyday for sightseeing but the buses and train station is literally 500m away.

Good hotel. Bad Wifi.
Good value for money. Clean and spacious rooms. Good location with lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Parking available but be aware that the spots are on the smaller side. Anything larger than a midsize sedan, will be tricky to park. Only negative was the wifi. It was awful. Weak signal. When you were able to find a signal, it was painstakingly slow. I ended up using my mobile hotspot.

I stayed here for 9 days. Due to the length of my stay, I wanted a hotel with a business centre (as I would be working whilst there) and a gym. The hotel advertises a business centre on their website and on expedia, however when I got there, the staff confirmed (with a shrug of their shoulders) that there is no business centre. I asked where I could print documents and they said to send the document to reception for printing (not ideal for confidential information). The gym has no air conditioning, is tiny and has 2 OUT OF ORDER treadmills which take up half the space and were not fixed in the 9 DAYS I was there. The water fountain ran out of water on my fourth day there and was never replenished. Cleaning staff are nice and friendly, breakfast is good and breakfast staff are generally nice. The reception staff were ok but give the impression that they would prefer if they didnt have to deal with you at all. I had a postcard with a stamp which I wanted to post so I asked if I could leave it with them or if they could tell me where the nearest post box was. They said no, they couldnt post it and they didnt know where there was a postbox. I eventually found one 250m down the street. There's a bar across the road that has raves from time to time. It happened once whilst I was there (on a Thursday) - the entire building shook from the music (luckily I had earplugs) - so my advice is to check whether there will be a rave on in the locality before booking a room.

We stayed here for 11 nights. The staff in the hotel can not be faulted they are really helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is not a 4 star like stated I’d say more a 2-3 star hotel. The fixtures in the bathroom were loose and the rooms way to hot even with the air conditioning on and we had 2 rooms during our stay both rooms were the same with the bathroom fittings and heat. The first room we had we came back to on our 6th day and the room smelled like cigarette smoke coming from the next room I think because it was stronger in the bathroom from the vent. We got moved to another room straight away but we had to pack all our stuff and move which was irritating seen as we weren’t smoking. The rooms are very noisy you can hear light switches been turned on in the rooms next to you that’s how this the walls must be. On our last night before we had to travel home we got no sleep due to upstairs guests ponding around all night. The night porter who was really friendly did sort the problem near midnight but it started again during the night and 7am the next morning. I would not stay here again

Short stay in Andel, Prague
The room was in very good condition, a nice size, good bathroom, comfortable and satisfied our needs. The location was convenient to Andel shopping centre and a significant transport hub for Metro, tram and bus services. It was also an easy walk into the centre of Prague for those who preferred to walk. And there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants In Andel.

Comfortable modern hotel, easy to walk to multiple public transport services (metro, bus, tram), plenty of food and shopping options locally, very nice staff who were helpful and had perfect English. Found breakfast a little poor compared to other Occidental chain hotels in Prague but it was still fresh and good!

There was nothing that I didn't like about this hotel - I recommend it highly and will definitely stay here again, as I'm a regular visitor to Prague. The only point I would make - as I assume the hotel management will read this - is in relation to security. A couple of times I arrived back at the hotel at around 1 in the morning and reception was completely deserted. There is no lock on the elevator, so literally anyone could have walked in off the street and accessed the floors where the rooms are located. I would suggest either ensuring 24 hour staffing of the reception area or fitting electronic locks to the elevators.

My family and I are very pleased with the excellent service provided at the front desk by Laura Castro, Amaia, Robert, Marcello and Kapill at the restaurant and bar, we like the food and the cleanliness and service at the restaurant< we think that we can recommend to Occidental Praha five, for those who pass through the beautiful city of Prague. WHAT WE DID NOT LIKE, was the CLEANING in the rooms, ESPECIALLY IN THE BATHROOMS, IT IS POOR, NEED TO IMPROVE. Thanks to those who do that work and we understand that they probably do not have the enough time to perform their work better, so we believe that this in the HANDS OF THE HOTEL ADMINISTRATION provide its employees with the ENOUGH TIME AND TOOLS NECESSARY to perform cleaning better.
