“Wonderful stay”

We didn't stay much in the hotel per se since we wanted to take advantage as much as possible of Prague, but the hotel itself was very clean, the rooms were very comfortable (we had a queen and it was perfect for 2 people. If you're traveling with children it may be a little cramped). The hotel itself is not in the heart of the tourist areas, which is actually a bit of a blessing. You can hop on the metro and be in the old quarter within 10-15 minutes. You can also take a tram to the castle district and be there in no time at all. Prague has an excellent public transit system. About the only thing I can think of to complain about is the room service... the one time we ordered some room service because we were too exhausted to go anywhere it took them about an hour an a half for a fruit salad, a sandwich and a beer, and the food selection wasn't especially overwhelming. There are dozens of really good restaurants just a stone's throw away however so there's no real reason to eat at the hotel anyways, but if you do eat downstairs and you will be served much faster... you'll also have options that you don't normally get in the rooms. The breakfast buffet is quite nice as well, if you opt for that, though I'd suggest getting there earlier rather than later as it tends to get quite full from 9 am on wards. I have no trouble recommending the hotel, we had an excellent stay there. But really, the real star of the show is the city itself. Well worth making the trip.
