Pros: Its location just perfect!
Location: be ready to walk around, all walking distances!
Close to central station, city center is just a short walking distance. Price is a bargain for such a strategic location.

Atmosphere and brilliant location!Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pleasant, helpful staff can be found in this lovely Prague hotel. Lots of European atmosphere and character (despite being part of a 'chain'). The location was excellent for sightseeing, for attending evening concerts and an easy walk from the main railway station ... all in a safe area with a market across the road, banks nearby, etc. The very famous Municipal House (for classical music concerts etc) is a 2minute walk away! Excellent value. We stayed for 3 nights and considered it ideal for our 1st ever visit to Prague. Our room overlooked the courtyard - it was very nice and quiet despite the central location.

Good hotel, great position, comfortable roomPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: The location to attractions and shopping was excellent. It is also close to the railway station. The taxi to the airport is a fixed price.
Cons: The breakfast needs improving. It is part of the room tariff. The staff are unfriendly. The plates are small. Only a young girl was friendly.
Location: The location is excellent. Close to the old square, the astronomical clock, the shops etc. You can walk to Charles Bridge and the palace.
The hotel was very good, the coffee shop had a great atmosphere and the room was very comfortable without being 5 star. The bathroom was updated with modern fittings and was large enough to make a shower a pleasure. There are some stairs and small lifts which could make it difficult for some travelers. The staff spoke English which was so helpful and the restaurant was in a basement with a wonderful atmosphere. The meal was very good and quite reasonable.

Delightful Hotel in the heart of the City.Posted Oct 7, 2013
This Hotel exceeded our hopes and expectations. My wife and I are in our 70s so walking great distances is an issue. Best Western Meteor Plaza is a block away from Republic Square which has public transport both underground rapid rail and above ground tram (street car) lines. We have a relative who lives in the Prague suburbs so learning the system was important and not difficult. English is Prague's second language. It was a ten minute walk from the Hotel to Old Town Square with many interesting sights and 20 minutes to the famous Charles River Bridge which crosses the Vtlava River and numerous places of tourist interest. These areas are free of motor traffic and quite crowded. Across the street from our hotel was a grocery store and in Republic Square on given days is an outdoor market where you can sit and have Czech food and the beverage of your choice. At the Hotel itself we had a stand double which consisted of a King size bed with TV and fridge a separate (sliding doors) sitting area bathroom with shower and plenty of closet space. A real delight was the sumptuous buffet breakfast (included in the price) with hot and cold food to suit various regional tastes.

Centrally located.Posted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: location, character and friendly staff.
Cons: Hallways perhaps.
Location: One could walk to the old town square, Jewish Quarters, the river and Charles bridge.
I liked this hotel was centrally located, very helpful staff, it was clean and the communications networks worked. I also liked the fact this was an older place with character and they served a breakfast with many choices.

Great central location in the heart of PraguePosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The hotel was well appointed for the price range.
Cons: The food at breakfast and in particular the desserts and juices were tasteless.
Location: Everything with the exception of the palace was within a 10 to 15 minute leisurely walk.
Great location within a short walking distance to the old city. Quiet, quiet, so quiet at night that it was possible to sleep with the windows open.
