Perfect Location

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location! Location! Friendly maid service!
Cons: An elevator would be nice :-) and a bigger fan especially in July!
Location: Next to Charles bridge, walking distance to both Old Town Square and Prague Castle on the other side of the river.
This hotel is perfectly located. It is right at the entrance of the iconic Charles Bridge and walking distance to most of the top attractions. The rooms were not luxury hotel calibre but were clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. There is no front desk, but they have a staff member meet you when you check in and give you a very thorough welcome, & tell you pretty much everything you need to know for your stay. For us looking out our window & watching the passers-by and the street musicians below was part of the charm of this hotel. We read comments about noise if you have a street facing room, but we didn't really have that problem. We were there to experience Prague, that was part of it. We slept comfortably with no interruptions from street noise. The complimentary breakfast provided was adequate considering the comparatively moderate room charge. The only real negative is this hotel has no elevator! They told us they'll help us with luggage up the stairs, but that basically meant the staff member picked up and carried one suitcase up stairs and we struggled with the rest. If you are travelling light, or backpacking it in Europe or the strong, sturdy type then no problem, but if you are a petite woman with a 40 pound suitcase or 2, then it's no fun. Also be careful with the currency exchange place across the street. We had a not so pleasant experience with the generally questionable Math they subscribe to, but overall Prague was an awesome experience, and this hotel w

Great customer service, location and rooms

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Room size, location and customer service
Location: Right on Charles bridge so easy to walk everywhere
I stayed there as part of my five week trip around Europe and by far this was the best accommodation. Great room, right in the middle of Prague (walked everywhere) and the staff are very friendly and helpful - to the extent that before arriving they did some research on weather forecast maps and everything was laid out in the room for us - just amazing. Thank you.

Great location for Prague

Posted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
8 of us booked 4 rooms for 2 nights in early October. We arrived early on a Friday. The staff greeted us warmly, very helpful in storing luggage in one of the rooms. The staff answered all our logisitic questions. Rooms were very clean, large, and great location. Would definitely return. No elevator if that is important. We had no problems.

A great find

This hotel is located in a great area...you walk out the door and you are almost on the Charles Bridge. The rooms are large and very clean. Would recommend to all. The only downer is the lack of an elevator to get luggage up to the rooms.

Great location, comfortable bed, bit noisy

Posted Aug 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great location right by the Charles Bridge. Very comfortable room. It was quite hot in Prague when we were there and we hadnto keep windows open. Since everyone had their windows we could hear others in then pension (phone calls, singing, conversations. In cooler whether this would not be a problem. In fact, give the noisy location we did not hear any street noise. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there agan. The breakfast at the Bohemian bagel is very American. However, you can ask for the buffet.

Great Location, Excellent Hotel, great Staff

Pros: Location
Cons: No Parking but not a big deal, parking is just a few blocks away
Location: less than 100m from the Bridge
I am Soldier station in Germany and we travel a lot to different cities, and by far this is the best hotel we have stayed, the location is perfect, right next to the Charles Bridge, and the breakfast restaurant was great, I would recommend this hotel to everyone, we will be back to Prague and will stay in the same hotel, with great internet, cable, etc, after walking a few miles it was good to be able to stop at the hotel and after resting, going right back to the Bridge and other areas.

Excellent place to stay. More of a hotel than a b & b. Breakfast is served at Bohemia Bagel just accross the street - different (if you like American style) but nice. We were met by Martin and taken to room 6 which has stained glass windows overlooking the street where Charles Bridge is a mere 30 yards away. The room was spacious, well appointed, with a tv and a fridge. The bathroom was to a good standard. It was very hot when we stayed so we had to leave the windows open which meant it was noisy till well into the early hours and the road sweepers / delivery men start early. The beds were comfy enough and with a new set of earplugs all the ingredients were in place for a good nights sleep. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
