Schönes kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Posted Apr 9, 2015

Small hotel next to prague castle near monastery

Posted Nov 2, 2014
We stayed 7 days in half term. Situated in a Lovely area a few metres from the beautiful prague castle and st vitus cathedral. Although a busy area in the day it was Quiet at night and we slept well. The room was cosy and warm. Bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast substantial and delicious. Highly recommended. The weather was beautiful crisp and cold. About 5 degrees some days. The castle area is on a steepish hill.

Lovely old style hotel very close to prague castle

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Ambience and attentive staff
Cons: With heavy bags going to lower floor rooms a bit of a challenge but installing a lift impractical.
Used the hotel arranged car and driver to train station on departure for set price of €15. Felt a bit seen off when he couldnt give change for a €20 note -thereby ending up with a €5 tip. That soured slightly an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Great little boutique hotel

Everything about the place was great. However, if you stay during the summer, be aware that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and Prague can get rather warm. But, the hotel does provide a fan on request.
