Very good Hotel and location...Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: We loved the location, the cleanliness in particular, the kitchenette.
Cons: Sofa bed is very uncomfortable, swim timetable needs to be better for children.
Location: brilliant location, loads to do nearby, 5 mins from old prague town square,
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and enjoyed the benefit of having a small apartment like room which catered for our needs. We were minutes away from most of the main city attractions including prague old town square which is just minutes away. The hotel reception team were very friendly and smiley and efficient in attending to our needs and explaining things that we were unsure about. The staff in the restaurants too were smiley friendly and helped us out when needed… Only downsides were: Swimming timetable was early morning at 7am - 8.30am or 8 pm - 10.30pm. These times were not suitable for children as they normally are asleep at the times. I still took my son as he was making a fuss. The sofa bed serves as an extra bed in the triple standard rooms. They are not comfortable at all and eventually we just managed out on the 2 beds that were available. But despite the negatives me and my family enjoyed ourselves a lot and would definitely use the hotel again if with family in prague.

Loved Prague! The hotel was very nice - they should include some free drinking water and coffee/tea in the room as the kettle, cups etc. are all there. Otherwise excellent location and very clean...a little noisy. Overall very satisfied.

Good choice if staying in higher floorsPosted Sep 30, 2013
Situated right in the centre of the busy Winceslas square area of Prague and virtually 10 -12 minutes away on foot from the central railway station, EA Hotel Julis gets full marks for its convenient location. If your room faces the road, be prepared for the noise of tipsy and loud revellers emanating from the street below at night- noticeable even in higher floors. With windows and drapes closed noise may not be a major problem in higher floors. Will definitely need A/C in summer I think - so check if this can be guaranteed if staying in the warmer months. The bathroom facilities in the executive room were very good. Kitchennete was available (note in room says basic utensils available on asking reception staff) but we didn't use it. Breakfast is Ok. Staff we met were polite and well mannered. It was short 2 night trip, therefore difficult to comment in any great detail. Recommended for short stays in the exec room

Just a minute away from the nearest Prague underground station (Mustek) - it's not hard to miss with a huge "JULIS" written above the building so doesn't matter if you're arriving day or night! Location is right on the main square in Prague (Wenceslas Square) so the area is a bit shady late at night with lots of people trying to lure you into places on the square - but they can be ignored with ease. The room was large and comfortable. Check-in/out was painless. TV had a wide selection but only one (BBC World) English station. If I had to find a fault, the toiletries were a bit naff (sachets of shampoo is a new one to me) so bring your own. - the pool was "undergoing maintenence" so there was no pool to use - there was no mention of this at check-in - only when we went to the 9th floor where the pool was supposed to be did we get bemused looks from staff as to what we were doing there. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but to be honest Prague is so cheap that you'd be daft wasting a meal eating cold meats in the hotel. Definitely stay again providing the pool is open and I'd not waste my time getting down to breakfast!

Modern comfort in historic Prague.Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: The views and the friendly staff.
Cons: The fridge didn't work. The staff said new ones had just come in, but we left before they were installed.
Location: Close to the most popular sights, and not far from the main train station.
Interesting design. Great central location. Lovely breakfast patio. Access to pool a real plus, though we wish it hadn't cost extra. Spacious room. We would go back.

Central LocationPosted Jun 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Julis. The hotel was very central for sightseeing. The only complaint was that we had booked for two adults and two teenage children (male/female) but the sleeping accommodation in the room was really only suitable for 3 people. The sofa bed which the teenagers had to share was uncomfortable.
