“A lovely hotel with an excellent staff...a spotless facility, too.”

The room's are beautifully decorated and furnished. The marble bathrooms are especially stunning. We were very impressed with the staff, all very professional and helpful.

“Very impressed ! Lovely location.”

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to the castle, though an uphill climb to return to the hotel. Would not suit those who don't like to walk

“Nice hotel in quiet part of Prague.”

First trip to prague, stayed 5 nights in May 05. The hotel is very nice, positioned behind the castle district (Hradceny). Rooms are simple, but nicely done with large bathrooms. The rooms seemed large to me compared to other European rooms. Staff was very friendly and the service was excellent, but the concierge could have been friendlier/more suggestive. The hotel manager was constantly around conversing with the guests. The free minibar is a nice touch. The restaurant was traditional higher-end european (i suggest the banana flambe) and the free buffet breakfast had a nice range of items. Position-wise, you're at the far end of the tourist area. It is nice and quiet, easy access to the castle, and the tram into central Prague. Highly recommended if you don't have to be (or want to be) in downtown Prague. I will definitely be staying there for future visits.

“September 2008”

We had a great time and enjoyed the hotel a lot. The rooms are great, I added a bit per night and took the Executive room which was a very nice sized room, breakfast is great, the spa whicj includes a jacuzzi, wet & dry steam room, massage was like a private club - we were there every day and bumped into 1-2 guests something that doesn't typically happen at a large hotel. The one drawback is the location which is in not in the center of the old quarter or in the center of town. It is very close to the castle and is a very nice 20 minute walk to town crossing the Charles Bridge and a 12 minute ride by tram which runs every 5 minutes and stops outside the hotel (Avoid taking taxis at night which is a real rip off - costs more than 10 times the tram). We thought the location was a bit problamatic at 1st but ended up being happy we chose this location. The front desk were also very nice, let us check out late at 4PM!!! Have fun, Prague and the hotel are both beautiful. Regards, Mark.

“The best of the best”

Wonderful location; extremely friendly staff; the place fits like an old shoe. The breakfast buffet was incredible. So much better than being in the middle of Prague. The bathroom was the best I've ever seen in a hotel. If you want preWWII Europe, this is it. Location - Location - Location The tram and subway take 20 minutes to the middle of the city.

“Wonderful experience”

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was so nice and the hotel is just lovely. Free breakfasts were great in a beautiful dining room. We had a complimentary mini-bar that was refreshed every day. The bathrooms are huge and very luxurious. We loved every part of our stay here!

“Would always return there”

We were so pleased that if we ever get another chance to visit Prague, we would definately like to stay at the Savoy. We have already recommended it to others and advised them to book through Expedia.

“Excellent service.”

The entire hotel staff was happy to help with everything from answering questions about tipping or St. Nicolas Day customs to arranging a very quick ride to the opera since we were running late. Wonderful service and helpful people.
