I think this hotel operates as a scam; at least partially. Expedia allowed me to book the stay at 9:30pm for the very same night; 10:15pm I was at the property - no one at the reception, impossible to check-in. I was there for ~20min waiting. Some people were loud at the "staff only" door next to the reception. After knocking on them, they came out storming at me what do I want, to stop knocking on them, and that they "don't work there". There was no misunderstanding, we were both fluent in both Czech and English, they were just absolutely rude and kicked me out. I suspect it was the kitchen staff; receptionist was nowhere to be found; place looked sketchy & cheap in general. I ended up leaving and having to look for new accommodation in the very middle of the night. "Thanks" Expedia! *only afterwards, I noticed the small ink check-in instruction on the Expedia booking confirmation email, saying that check-in after 8pm have to be scheduled upfront.

Dobry den,mame check-in od 14:00 do 20:00. Ten pan ne upozornoval,ze dorazi v ten cas. Uz psal vam odpoved,dekuji za vase pochopeni. Recenze lepe napsat pro expedia,protoze aplikace spatne funguje. Hezky den.

Went to check in at the property around 1500 and the staff wasn’t even there. Waited 45 minutes for someone to show up but by that point I didn’t want to stay there. Would not recommend.

My stay at this place was really not great. Firstly, the hotel is not built effectively, there is an elevator that lands between each two floors so you have to walk either up or down to get to your room. Also, the curtains do not fully cover the window and keeps you from sleeping. There is no street parking as advertised on the website. Worst of all if you don't book in advance and come to the hotel to get a room you will be charged an exorbitant price more than double the regular price per night. Be careful of this place !!!!!!! Don't book if you have any other option!!!

Firstly every kind of hotel with 3 stars its built like that,second the windows are fully covered,street parking its near the hotel but was busy because we had workers next to the building and they had a lot of cars parked there ,thats not our problem , And we didnt charge u twice for sure u have some mistake .. Have a good day and dont book here again. Thank you

It needs renovating. The man on reception was nice. Stains on the wall and holes toilet and sink broken, light bulbs missing, fridge didn't work or the 80's tv. For the same or less money you can get a really good hotel in Prague with breakfast. I wouldn't go back.

The stay was okay if the price is considered in Christmas time, but it was not that pleasant. The receptionist was almost always unavailable. She did not behave well too. Her English was not perfect but communicable. But no one else could converse in English. To enter and exit the hotel you need to open the door with a key or call the receptionist if available. The wifi was too weak. The bill had to be paid in CZK when it was made in Euro. That is okay but they charged high conversion rate. The hotel just look like a normal house from outside. The inside was made of such material so that you can hear voice of anyone anywhere. The room was not totally heat proof. The bathroom was clean but not comfortable. Hot water was not available always. There was no drinking water and the tap water was too dirty to drink.

hello, we r normaly does not respond, but m the receptionist here, and writing english and also speaking....) the tape water is very clean in Prague, even my daughter is drinking it....and also is always drinking water for guests in the holle.... in case u pay by card our machine except only czk... in case of cash we takes all..i also would like to remind that 20 euro over Cristmas time is very friendly price....

Good value for money
I shouldn't expect much out of a 20$ per day single room. The room is adequate looks like your grandmother could live in it with all the century old drapes and hazy pink interior, got everything a mini fridge, private bathroom, a T.V (that isn't programed to any channels, but i guess this is unimportant giving that you don't stay much in the room). Hotel location is a bit far from the center (8 Tram stops), there's a limited number of restaurants within walking distance so you're gonna have to take the tram for breakfast. Finally regarding all the above it's a 20$ a night hotel.

Lovely and helpful hotel manager but overall hotel decor was poor and room felt unclean with dirty white stains on pillows, unwashed glasses to drink from, shampoo and shower gel not topped up, etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Aladin Hotel in Prague. It was easy to find and in a very nice little corner of the city. I was not looking for a central location and this was the perfect spot for me. Perfectly quiet and comfortable. A nice place to base from.

Lovely hotel, close to transport & town centre
the hotel was lovely for the price we paid. It is close to public transport (tram bus) and about 20min away from town centre of Prague. We didn't have any internet on the 4th floor, we were told they're changing internet provider. No shower gel in the bathroom which wasn't that clean, but I guess you get what you paid for. Overall I'd recommend it if you're looking for somewhere cheap, central for your get away.

The hotel allocated a very small single room although we booked quadruple room in advance! In addition, rude staff very disappointed us. We never recommend choosing this hotel.

Very basic but good price
This hotel felt more like a hostel. Although the room was reasonably priced, the facilities were very basic. The mattresses were very hard, The shower/toilet was again basic. The curtain was falling off the rail. Basic duvet no duvet cover. The toilet roll holder was broken, the toilet moved when you sat on it. Although the room was clean it didn't 'feel' clean. The dining room had dead plants in pots. Most days there was very little to eat at the buffet style breakfast. Nobody asked if we needed anything. The breakfast selection was something you would get if there were rations during war time.

Luckily we did not have to spend any time in our room. We were lucky to get parking as it was advertised as a guarantee. The hotel is located 2 blocks from the tram (be prepared to walk the first time, ticket purchase is well over a mile away). The room was clean but the water would not drain out of the shower. This is a place to stay if you want to keep your clothes somewhere while you are sightseeing all day long.

A good hotel. Purely convenient. Comfortable. Furniture is good. Toilet and shower are excellent. I really liked it. If you come to Prague to lie in bed and sit in the hotel, then take something else. And if you're in Prague for Prague, it is a great option with an excellent price.

Residence Monte Carlo - ok for the price
We picked this hotel because it was close to City Centre and had free parking as advertised on the web site. In fact the parking was beside the hotel along the street and you could park only if you were lucky because was public parking. I think we could have find a better hotel for the price but overall the hotel was clean and close enough to the attraction points. The hotel staff was very helpful giving instructions on trams and metro, they even gave us tickets.

Residence Monte Carlo in Prague
Fairly quaint location and architecture, cobblestone roads, nice Park nearby.About 20 minutes walk from nearest Metro station (Namesti Miru) or 5 minutes by tram.Local shops and restaurants were ok. Had to pay up front on arrival for my two night stay.Hotel reception seemed unfriendly at first but were ok later on,helped me with using their PC when I wanted to check my e-mails.All information was in Russian as the majority of guests came from there.Would have been helpful if in English as well. My room was newly refurbished and bright but hadn't been cleaned properly after previous guest,loose biscuits left in a drawer,drinking glasses in bathroom didn't look as if they had been cleaned. Breakfast not to my taste,sparkling orange drink and no orange juice, squares of bread already made up with cheese and meat (I would have preferred to have made my own combination) very small cereal bowls,milk in original supermarket container and not poured into a jug,general perception was that it was all a bit unhygienic and I was glad that I had to leave early and miss breakfast on the morning that I checked out.

Ett enkelt och prisvärt hotell.
Stannade två nätter och hade bokat ett enkelrum, men fick ett rum med en stor dubbelsäng. Liten toalett men allt fungerade som det skulle. Var varmt ute och inne, så jag fick ha fönstren öppna på natten. Lite störande ljud från gatan utanför men inte så mycket att det var svårt att somna. Hotelett ligger lite utanför centrum men det var lätt att komma till spårvagnar på två olika hållplatser. En för linje 22 och en för linje 6. Ett plus var den enkla frukosten, som ingick i det relativt låga priset för hotellrummet. Den var enkel men gav en god start på dagen.

Brannfarlig og lite komfortabelt
Sengen var veldig liten og lite komfortabel. Det var heller ingen form for lufteanlegg, som gjorde at det var varmt og luften var tung. Det var bygningsarbeid en meter fra vinduet, så det var ikke lov å åpne dette heller. Internett fungerte kun i lobbyen, ikke på rommene. Det mest oppsiktsvekkende var at det kun gikk an å låse opp rommet med nøkkel, fra begge sider. Det vil si at dersom det skulle begynne å brenne måtte man finne frem nøkkelen for å komme seg ut. Aldri opplevd liknende.
