Stay at Andel Hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and Staff
Cons: Air conditioning.
Location: Location was close to a very nice mall. Many of the local attractions were across the river although the metro system was easily accessible.
I stayed for 4 nights at the hotel. I was very pleased with the staff in terms of their willingness to be helpful and answer questions. The included breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and taste. The room was supplied with a fan which was a necessity as the room was a little too warm for my liking. I would have preferred air conditioning. The price was very reasonable and overall my stay was enjoyable.

The hotel claims there's free wi-fi Internet throughout the hotel but in reality you won't be able to go online anywhere other than in the lobby. The hotel is not suitable for business travelers.

Good Location and Nice staff

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: The location was nice. It was close to the Metro as well as the train station.
Cons: Small things in rooms need improvement. e.g. handle of a drawer was broken, rail of shower cabin in bathroom was faulty and needed precaution.
Location: Good location. The Belvedere palace is 5-10 minutes walk.
My one night stay was comfortable. The staff was nice and the breakfast was also good.

Great Hotel for Sightseeing in Prague!

Posted Dec 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at Hotel Andel while sightseeing in Prague and had a great experience. The staff was very helpful, and graciously spoke English. The breakfast buffet included delicious hot and cold selections. The hotel happily allowed our dogs (with refundable deposit). We kept our car parked at the hotel and walked to all of our downtown Prague sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice Affordable Hotel

Posted Dec 6, 2013
The hotel price is originally what captured my attention. It was very affordable and the fact that it had free breakfast, parking, and wi-if made it a great choice. The hotel itself was not bad. The only problem I had was the shower had no tub and there was only a curtain around a small standing space. Water went everywhere. My friend's room had a tub, but there was a crack in it, water went everywhere as well. Other than that, the rooms were fine. The rooms were clean for the most part and I didn't feel uncomfortable there. The hotel staff was amazing! Super friendly, helpful, and all spoke good English. The hotel was about a 10-15 min drive to the main downtown area. However, there are a bunch of restaurants and a huge shopping mall with great stores and a food court within walking distance of the hotel. Overall I don't regret my choice (I have seen far worse hotels in Europe for more money). We all had a great time in Prague!
