Excellent hotel, great location

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Quiet, understated, friendly staff, very clean and good facilities.
Location: A short walk to Wenceslas Square and handy for the railway station.
Perfectly placed close to the railway station and Wenceslas Square, yet in a very quiet neighbourhood. Our room was at the back of the hotel, but even if you overlooked the street you would get a good night's sleep.

Pros: EVERYTHING.
Cons: Realistically, all aspects of my stay were excellent.
Location: Especially good location - just far enough from the noise but close enough to the action in a delightful city.
HOTEL STAFF VERY HELPFUL. VERY GOOD LOCATION. GREAT BREAKFAST. OUTSTANDING VALUE. WOULD STAY AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

Hot hotel in a decent location

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location, free wifi, on-site restaurant
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Wenceslas Square, National Museum, Metro (subway) station, Train Station, and not too far from the old town section.
The room was small but modern, but the Czech people don't seem to utilize air conditioning that much. The room did have A/C, but I had to contact the front desk to have it turned on. And once it was turned on for me, it was very cold and I couldn't adjust it. It eventually started leaking all of the walls and puddling on the carpet, since it was installed on an inside wall with no outside drain. So after a couple of days, it was shut down on me. It started to smell and was uncomfortable, so I was transferred to a new room with no A/C at all. The room was very hot and uncomfortable for me, so I will not stay there again. But for someone who doesn't mind the heat, it was okay. Nice restaurant on site (downstairs), and within a couple of blocks of the national museum, metro (subway) station, and the Wenceslas Square, which is basically the popular/busy area of town with shopping and restaurants on the north edge of the old town area with the astrological clock, Charles Bridge, etc.

Excellent value and perfect location

As a single gay man visiting prague, I found the location perfect for the various bars, cafés and clubs of the scene in the city. The service was excellent from all staff, and they even entertained my friends while they waited for me in the lobby. Book the suite for a flawless stay, it gave me a real buzz to start my holiday off perfectly.
