Hotel Belvedere PraguePosted Aug 22, 2010 on Hotels.com
The hotel was not in the historic old town section of Prague but was on a major tram line which made getting around very easy. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious and clean. Our room was inside a courtyard so it was quiet. All in all a nice stay.

Good for the moneyPosted Dec 28, 2008 on Hotels.com
Hotel interior looked new, especially the nice tiles in the hallways, nice cherry doors. Single room was very small, however, and the toilet had a slight smell of urine. Breakfast was adequate but not sumptuous by any means. Walkable to the nearest metro stop which is Vitavska, but can also take tram 25 to the metro. Tram 26 takes you to Namesti Republicky. Overall, good place for the money.

A good 3-star HotelPosted Aug 12, 2008
Have stayed in this hotel twice. The rooms are clean and comfortable - no a/c so can be a little uncomfortable when the weather is hot - and the buffet breakfast is a little basic. But the staff are attentive and friendly, and the hotel is easily placed for trams to all parts of Prague.

Information not updatedPosted Jul 16, 2008
The tram no.26 that is suggested by the hotel which could be taken from the metro station of dejvicka (station where we can take the direct airport bus) is actually cancelled and we couldn't find the tram when we get there. And therefore we need to take the metro to the Vitavska and walk to the hotel instead.

very good valuePosted Jun 16, 2008
There is some major road work going on in the main street but there were excellent tram services nearby to all 3 areas of the City of interest to tourists as well as a convenient if rather unattractive Tube station. It is possible to walk through the nearbyLtna Park (stunning views) down various steps to several of the bridges. The exterior is rather unprepossessing and it is a large hotel but there are superb watercolours by a local artist in the corridors. Our "standard" bedroom had high ceilings , was simply but tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable but there was no air conditioning we could control and this should be borne in mind if staying in July/August. Breakfast was a good buffet catering for continental and central European taste (including salads and grated carrots !) Don't be put off by this hotel location in Prague 7,just outside most tourist maps. It is close to a superb museum of Modern Art and it's 5 minutes by tram to the Castle precinct and Old Town Square. This hotel charges for use of the safe deposit box in the bedroom . This hotel is very good value compared to those in the Old town.

Prague SpringPosted Jun 2, 2008
The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city but as keen walkers we found it was within walking distance (less that an hour) of all the main sights of the city. Five minutes takes you into the beautiful Letna Park with wonderful views and great beer garden. Walk through the Park and you reach the Royal Palace Gardens and Prague Castle.

Try it you will like itPosted May 16, 2008 on Hotels.com
My wife and I arrived early in the morning the receptionist on duty made us feel really welcome from the first meeting. The lady was most cheerful spoke english well and managed to obain a smokers room for us. Although a little way out from the centre if you exit to the right of the main doors you can walk along the road which leads you into the park a pleasant walk takes you through the top the park where you can find your way down to one of the many bridges where a quick walk across leads you to the heart of Prague.

A friendly little hotel very close to the Trams StopsPosted May 15, 2008
I stayed here with my wife and my parents. We had 2 rooms on the fifth floor. The rooms were had adequate space and were very clean. We had a buffet breakfast included. The choice was limited but food was fresh and there were some very nice bread and rolls available. The small hotel bar stayed open until 2 am and the staff there were very friendly. The bar prices were good value. Overall an excellent stay. The hotel was very close to the tram stop. One can get a Number 8 Tram right into town, only 2 or 3 tram stops away. I would recommend this hotel.
